  1. Can't keep everyone, set a number, keep the best, dump the rest. Currently sitting at 16.
  2. Any chance of sending any of them back to school?
  3. It almost comes down to who they can safely stash on the PR without risk of being swiped. With the current depth I think they will be forced to make 2 outright cuts.
  4. Darren Bauming has created a good series of one-on-one interviews with various Bomber players and coaches on TSN. https://www.tsn.ca/darrin-bauming-1.88464
  5. Be aware, Harper was a fan of the "for-profit prison" concept in Canada. File under, "create a crisis offer a solution". "In late October, though, news leaked from the Sampson panel suggesting that it was preparing to scrap statutory release, the virtually automatic discharge of prisoners under conditions similar to parole after they've served two-thirds of their sentences. Instead, "you'd have to show why you deserve to be released [at the two-thirds point]," a Canadian Press story quoted an unnamed source "familiar with the panel's report" as saying. "It'll put more people in [prison], so they're going to need more resources." This has stoked the privatization fears: that the Harper government's law-and-order agenda could unleash a crisis of overcrowding in prisons, and guess what the magical solution will be? Private prisons. There is just one catch: crime experts say all this–dramatically increased prisoner numbers, possible privatization of prisons, and get-tough measures, including increased and mandatory sentences–will probably make Canadian communities less safe, not more." https://www.straight.com/article-119340/stephen-harper-opens-door-to-prison-privatization
  6. A small price to pay once one decides to sell their soul.
  7. Ten years late but just finished watching the Deadwood series, once adjusted to the extraneous dialogue and excessive profanity I found it very enjoyable. Also watching two pretty good semi-modern Western based series right now "The Son" starring Pierce Brosnan and "Yellowstone" starring Kevin Costner, the usual themes are present, land, oil, Indians, cattle and money, just add toxic family environment to the mix.
  8. The CFL can't afford to carry dead weight for long, hopefully Guzzo realizes that. https://www.tsn.ca/radio/montreal-690/naylor-you-are-buying-a-license-to-lose-money-1.1312373
  9. The Als are in serious trouble, lost $12.5 million last year alone. https://3downnation.com/2019/05/28/alouettes-lost-over-12-million-in-2018-report/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  10. Actual video footage of RB drill, i believe Larry Rose, Santiago and someone wearing Gaitor's #23. The #Bombers RBs at work pic.twitter.com/BXENwS5bwN — Ed Tait (@EdTaitWFC) May 27, 2019 :21 98 views 1:23 PM - 27 May 2019
  11. Other than opinions, there is very little original information posted on this website, you're welcome to search source sites like bluebombers.com, cfl.ca or tsn.ca/cfl to find the relevant information you're seeking.
  12. I wonder if that's the end for Reaves, as he was sort of a Chris Jones project. A lot of commitment to put into rehab for limited reward as a ST player, may be time for him to move on with his life.
  13. Booch, you got some 'splainin' to do!
  14. They should have been upfront about it or at least provide some reasoning like they did with Thompkins, not being able to get hold of him.
  15. Apparently not, I don't think any player enjoys standing on the sidelines watching for seasons on end as the prime of their career slips by. The team needs to own this and re-examine their player management approach, because in situations such as this they're obviously misreading player response.
  16. With a hundred bodies milling about, it's somewhat understandable the media did not pick up on it. Question is when the Bombers announced Thompkins as a no-show why didn't they also announce that Foketi was M.i.A.
  17. Speaking of ripped......guess who?
  18. Mimimum age should have been 50 goddammit!
  19. I get the impression from his interview that Richardson might accept a P.R. position, pushing a major decision down the road one year.
  20. I'm cheering for Santiago, he's built for the CFL game, can juke and jive with the best of them yet has the power to break tackles and make his own holes. Plus he's a regional player, which should be taken into consideration as an advantage when it comes to contract renewal.
  21. You're ******* prejudiced.
  22. Memories of Merv Walker still trigger panic attacks.
  23. Good point, keeping Hecht means somebody else gets cut. If Jones goes down they're probably plugging in Hecht and this could happen at anytime.
  24. #1 scapegoat candidate.
