I have little doubt that Jones does what he wants and does not consider the salary cap, so if he wants to bring in extra bodies, he will, with no regard for the rules- he has proven that repeatedly.

The voters also have to take into account the gawdawful beating that Reilly has been taking for most of the season and still competed every game.

Given that the Stamps will start a lot of backups, there is no reason that the Bomber QBs should not show well, even if the team loses. They will be carried on the roster for the balance of the season if they repeat last game's performance, but that ought to be the end of their careers in the CFL.

I share your concern. It is no coincidence that the Bombers' fortunes improved as soon as Nichols was made a starter. We will probably know next week whether Nichols will be taking first-team reps, and if we get a lame excuse as to why he isn't out of caution, that will set off alarm bells.
