I really think that a guy like Streveler is just such a competitor that he struggles with the passive lapo offense. Like Elliott when he was here just no patience for the idea that you don't try and take it to your opponent. At least Khari has talked about how you have to push it against a defence even if it isn't there just to show them you are crazy enough to do it.

Hecht had a brief stint as capable at the start of the year but he has been getting exposed for being slow and out of position lately. I believe the roster flexibility is there to play an american at the position so they should absolutely try it. 

Bang on about the up coming cold weather and the running game...Streveler is the best running qb. in the land (sorry Reilly) and that is a huge bonus....While guys like Bo are glued to the pocket (much of his game is played there any way) you know he definitely won't be using his legs to hurt you...enter Streve...I'm actually looking forward to the hard slugging in the cold ,with Andrew and Chris pounding out the yardage... Big advantage us

Not enough people talk about how smart streveler is.

Huge O'Shea fan here, but he has his faults and one of them that always baffles me is the overly respectful way he wants to coach his football team against opponents. When O'Shea played, he was one of the most ruthless players you could imagine and there wasn't much he wouldn't do to win the game. Now that he coaches, it's like if he had his way, he'd go into the opponents locker room and hand out orange slices at halftime. 
If your team comes into the locker room at halftime with that kind of league and you have a young QB full of attitude, you don't stifle that with this "hold your horses, fellas" stuff, you tell them to get out there and stay focused but step on their throat and make them remember what kind of football team you are. It's ridiculous. You can blame it on the players all you want, but it's not a coincidence that this stuff has continually happened whether it was Drew Willy, Matt Nichols or Chris Streveler under centre. We get a lead, we get cautious and polite and we blow it. It's sad and quite frankly, it's the exact type of stuff that makes me believe we aren't going to win a championship unless O'Shea changes his stance on this stuff. Winners play to win and if they come into a locker room at halftime up three scores, they want to end the game up six scores. Punish the other team.
Don't even get me started on LaPolice. The guy goes ultra conservative with any kind of comfortable lead and then seems to panics his way into calling stupid gimmick **** to get back on track. Brilliant offensive mind, but man does he struggle with game script and he always has. Does not put his players in a position to succeed once they get up on an opponent. It's gross that it keeps happening over and over. Beyond frustrating.

Losing isn't proof that the call was wrong. It's proof that the defence didn't do their job. Calling a time out when you want to drain the clock is the opposite of what MOS should do. The Argo game and the Als game were the same. Big leads lost. The LDC was just a walk off FG after a drive, not a complete collapse.
This wasn't a normal loss. It was the first time in Bomber history that we lost a game when we were up by 24 points. Worst collapse ever. That's what pisses me off. It shouldn't have happened.

at the risk of sounding like a nutlicker, can you set the roster each week? I find myself agreeing with your thoughts on the player usage more often than not.

Yes, he will improve the line. 

Whitehead is the best receiver of the three you talked about.  IMO Bailey looks much more polished though.  If I had to roster one to play slot it's Bailey.  Whitehead's speed can be lethal but hard to get a guy loose who is relying on straight lines.  I think we can get Bailey, Whitehead and Grant on the roster though with a minimal impact (lose the DI LB).

I just think streveler is a different beast, and I thought that based solely on the very first interview I ever heard him give in training camp last season. Everything he has done in his time here leads me to believe that he has that *it* factor. He may not turn into a great, but that guy can be a successful starting quarterback I have no question about that. 

Miles did a pretty good job after Rempel went out. Not sure if there's another in game backup though

I’d actually be happy with a number of the NFL receiver cuts. Michel or JWL are probably on the more realistic side of things and they could both make our offense better.

Very disappointing.  Hopefully this means another receiver is on the way because it's not like the guys on the PR have shown much.

thing is...I know the steroid use scene..testing...how and what to take..mgs...clearing system period..on and on as I did it..lived through it..researched it...I could go on and on...the specific one he took...would not have left his system between the 2 tests...being it an oral would have to be taken daily..or every other day depending on how you spread out your dosage...is a bulking agent and serves no use for a skilled position player..also of note Harris is playing at a lighter weight..it also causes serous water retention and you would see it...especially in the face. and most likely he'd be more susceptible to injury when on it...it drys out your tendons and you lose flexibility...things a RB would not want
People are quick to judge..and sadly this will hang over him, but it isn't the reason he is still going strong...and pretty sure most haters will say he must have a better masking agent (and by the way Dbol as an antiquated roid can't be masked) when he comes back...just as good...probably better after his suspension cause he is gonna be playing pissed off now.
Thigpen btw was a totally different situation...he got caught with it full blown in his system and couldn't dispute it...so no **** he tool it like a man..had no choice...and it was a very mainstream drug that is rampant in sports..especially football...not some old school Golds Gym glory days bulking drug...like gimme a break
But the haters are gonna hate regardless....have a look on the internet as I am sure they have it in the flatlands and research the amount of Supplements that have been discovered to have banned stuff in them..not listed on the label...you'de be shocked
 

Streveler throws from 3/4 which isn't an issue.  Rich Gannon was a Pro Bowl/MVP NFL QB with the same release.  There's no windup, the ball gets out quick.  The deep ball is an issue as from 3/4 a QB needs more torque to get it out, so needs a cleaner pocket to go deep.

Meh...tape.  Everyone knew what was coming, they couldn't stop it.  Bombers exert their physical will and it's unstoppable.  Someone else bucks up and makes tackles they have a chance to stop it, but that run game is consistent and they didn't even involve all the weapons.  The limit on the run game was Lapo going away from zone read/RPO looks for several possessions.  Edmonton did zip to stop it all night, the OL, Harris and Streveler kicked their ass.  Can't scheme that.
Only issue with Streveler's passing are the deep balls.  His mid range stuff he's putting the ball right on guys, they need to make the plays.  Probably quite an adjustment from Nichols as the ball is in front or on guys, not behind or on the shoe tops.

Or who is free...I'd be fine signing Franklin if/when he gets cut from TO. But I wouldn't trade anything outside of a 7th rounder for him.
