  1. If we go 0-6 or 1-5 as I expected, and predicted, then NOT firing MOS is basically giving up on the season in my view. The season isn't really over until labour day, and if you can get things turned around before then you can at least give yourself a chance. Let's revisit this hiring. He was a special teams coordinator for just a handful of seasons. He wasn't a seasoned coach who was the head of a small program or school somewhere. He was a player who became a special teams coordinator, and was handed the responsibility of a football team way too early. This is painfully obvious now. He wants to be buddies with his team, not their coach. If you fire him before this season totally implodes, perhaps you can get some better results with a different voice and a different message. But staying on track with a total loser at the helm is giving up and throwing the white towel in the ring.
  2. I understand but I don't think you're actually making a valid point. No one is posting "waaaa waaa fire MOS". People are, correctly, talking about when he should be fired, and, his failings as a coach. Your assertion that I wouldn't be here if the Bombers were winning is more negative than anything your accusing the MOS detractors of. By a mile. I've been a Bomber fan my whole life, so to quote Goalie, **** you. You keep labeling peoples well placed and usually correct criticism of our management and players as being tantrums, yet you just threw one yourself like a spoiled little child. Dry your eyes and man up. This team sucks right now and people aren't going to come on here and sing praises of a badly inexperienced Michael O'Shea or shell shocked Drew Willy. edit: People have also thoroughly explained why MOS and Willy need to go, you just dont want to listen or read. MOS- inexperienced st coordinator thrust into a position he wasnt ready for. Wants to be everyones friend and cant make the tough calls a coach needs to make. Cant make proper adjustments during the game, highlighted by the poor 2nd half performances last 2 years. Inexcusable loyalty to bad players not pulling them out of the game to try other players when things dont go well Willy- Terrible decision making. Panics in pocket. Happy feet. Unable to read a defense or a blitz. Unwilling or unable to stretch the D with long passes. Poor game clock management. Results are very poor wins to losses. I mean these things are CONSTANTLY talked about on the forum, and you have the balls to come on here and write that garbage that people are just saying "MOS sucks wa wa". Get. Real.
  3. I would give this post more credence if this was the NFL. It's a 9 team league with huge roster turn over year to year; you don't need a 5 year plan. If Ottawa can become a very skilled team in 2 years starting from zero, then Walters has run out of excuses.
  4. Bozo is slang for an incompetent person. If that's too saucy for your virgin eyes perhaps you need to take your own advice and push away from the keyboard.
  5. Walters and Owsh both need to walk the plank. Walters has done a terrible job, and MOS is clearly not a HC. Willy needs to be cut too, paying him his salary to go out there and stink is insane. What really drives me up the wall is we could have had Harris and our QB this off season but Walters hitched his stupid wagon to Willy. After this mess continues that should be final straw for that bozo
  6. I couldn't hear your post over the sound of your empty pom poms. Seriously. Legit question. Let people discuss it. I say after week six when we're 1-5
  7. Hey we got a touchdown when the game was out of reach again. Everything is ok! Herp derp
  8. Autistic Iron Mike O'Shea. Legit burst out in to laughter at the train station for that. Perfect.
  9. I've wanted MOS gone for a year now. He's a bad coach and clearly in way over his head. Another lousy hire by our lousy Organization.
  10. Well, here I am at McMahon hoping for good things. Always feels good to be at the game with the guys in blue. Sharp new duds. Let's go this, Bombers!
  11. oh man. watching the riders getting fed their lunch just feels right.
  12. should have been a pick 6. already a nice start tho for toronto
  13. Against my better judgment ive decided to go to the game with some friends. hopefully they will give me my first win in calgary. ever. no joke ive lived here since 98 and i missed the win couple seasons ago lol
  14. one on hand I feel really good for Ottawa fans and that organization, and city. They deserve some success after the clown show argument they've had. on the other.. god damn. unreal to watch what a competent and well run management structure can accomplish.
  15. montreal looks like trash. isnt that surprising.
  16. Sure if you want to disagree with my use of the term garbage time, I'll give you that. It was 22-4 when the 4th quarter started, and there was very little reason to believe that our offence would suddenly click and turn it on. Montreal eased up on the gas and Winnipeg made it close, and when the going got tough we had multiple shots at getting the game to overtime or winning but couldn't get it done. Did Willy and company finally get their act together, or, did Montreal let up after watching a total clown show for 3 quarters? The truth is likely a little of both but the lions share is , in my opinion, the clown show option. If you want to really talk about how silly things are here on this forum, the hysterics over benign and uncontroversial statements like mine are a good place to start.
  17. *redacted*. If your down multiple scores in the 4th the opposing team gets lazy and usually, not always, gets softer. Im not trying to make anything up or for a narrative. We made it close late in the game when Montreal would have geared down and when it got close, Willy et all was unable to tie it. Amazed at the venomous replies, frankly I edited my post to frankly try and bring some civility back. Again, repeat, I'm not looking to discredit Willy and the O for the sake of being negative and a contrarian. I think any reasonable football fan will agree that if the game is multiple scores difference, and our O has scored but 1 single field goal up to part way thru the 4th, that if the game gets close it`s hard to hitch your wagon to that as a success. Will it carry over? Maybe. I doubt it. Betting odds on it wouldn't be that high. Talk about wanting to post less because of me writing that is, in itself, hysterical nonsense worthy of "leave brittany alone". Talk about paper thin skin.
