  1. MOS and MB both need their walking papers.
  2. It's a NINE team league. Teams are very transient. The idea you need a 5 year plan in the CFL to turn things around is absurd. MOS and Walters are flat lining, if not going backwards. There's dozens of examples demonstrating that you dont need to give every regime 3 years minimum to prove they can do it. Either you make good choices at hiring and signing or you don't. This crew of losers have proved they cant. Move on.
  3. lol goalie. you are truly hillarious. go away.
  4. Can you please stop with this bullcrap about Marcel being our interim head coach if MOS gets fired? I don't know which hole of your body you pulled that out of but it's really annoying.
  5. Nichols had a fantastic game. His fumble deep in Sask territory is definitely on him, but anyone blaming him for the interception or other fumble is high. He got smoked from behind hard... if that was Willy in the pocket no one would question it. And the pick? Receiver got 2 hands on it and proceeded to lateral it to a Rider. Not on Nichols.
  6. This isn't church. Willy, MOS, etc, are all human beings with measurable track records. We aren't talking about something hypothetical or fiction from 2000 years ago. No faith need be discussed... simply look at the results and the trend of things worsening.
  7. I see a lot of buzz words and phrases. Patience. Build for success. Build a foundation. etc etc etc I feel these phrases are being used by people who want to justify their own blind faith. This is a 9 team transient league. Roster turn over is remarkable and very fast paced. Ottawa in year 2 of their expansion team is already miles ahead of us. In the CFL the difference between a good team and bad one is management. Calgary, Toronto, and even Saskatchewan have been very competitive and consistent for years and they've done it with the same recipe: smart moves for coaching staff and players. You either make good personnel decisions or you don't. This team is actually looking like it might be worse this year than last year. And people want to give the keys to these same bozos again? Why? So we can all feel good about being patient and giving people time to build a foundation? There's no foundation here. It's another shanty built on a beach. The Bombers are the worst built team in the CFL by a mile... and there's no reason to think that Walters has the ability to turn this around. He hired a 3 year special teams coordinator to be our coach. A coach who's been so badly out maneuvered in a season and a half by the rest of the league it's actually becoming an ordeal to watch this team in the 2nd half of games. Walters also failed to address our Qb situation and left this team with an injury prone QB with no one behind him. No one. Not to mention insisting on keeping MB... the worst OC in the CFL. I fully believe and agree you should give people time to build something. But this trio of guys are showing they dont have the decision making or football intelligence to compete with the rest of the league. To earn patience you should have to demonstrate some form of improvement. There is none.
  8. I'd love to have a boss like noeller or 17/85. Just screw the pooch royally, and be given slack because, hey, why not. I love that people have cited so many examples of how there's no such thing as a coaches graveyard scaring away quality people. Bombers are simply cheap and don't want to hire the best people like Toronto, Calgary, or Hamilton did. Hamilton fired coaches almost annually until they got the right person ffs. Just 2 years ago. MOS was a bad hire. Walters was a bad hire. Firing them and paying handsomely for the right people is the solution. But like another poster said, this cheap org would rather clink plastic cups together at Earls and celebrate savings.
  9. http://morningbigblue.com/community/topic/5091-oshea-hands-away-the-ldc/ rewind to last years LDC. I was already well on board the OShea sucks train. My personal favourite is mfranc saying that oshea is the best thing to have happened to the bombers in forever lol. lulz.
  10. I would take this kind of post from you more seriously if you made the same excuses for Marve. You didn't. You chose to crap all over him instead.Marve wasn't 21 of 26 for 184 yards. If you really think brohm was the problem I suggest you watch again.Yea but ressurection is marves rah rah guy tho so any chance he gets to dog anyone other then marve.. I'm done with marve and behind Nichols now based on evidence.
  11. yep. brown with some real questions. good for him
  12. I would take this kind of post from you more seriously if you made the same excuses for Marve. You didn't. You chose to crap all over him instead. Marve wasn't 21 of 26 for 184 yards. If you really think brohm was the problem I suggest you watch again. What did Brohm do out there? Dinking 3 yard passes? hey great job. Brohms average pass was 5 yards. He ran directly into sacks. Under threw players by routine. Was slow to make decisions. This is why we had a whopping 10 points going into the final parts of the game before garbage time. And if not for the gifted turn over we woudlnt even would have had that touchdown. Brohm was no btter than Marve. Period.

  14. i would put this as a new low point in bomber history.
  15. MOS is probably the worst head coach in the CFL right now. This is what happens when you hire a guy who has 3 years (is that right?) experience and his highest position on a team was special teams coordinator. Brilliant hire.
  16. If Brohm is our only viable option, Walters should be fired asap as well as MOS. Nichols has at least thrown for a TD pass in this league. Oh and won a game. This is embarrassing a new low for this franchise. Amazing they could find a drill strong enough to get there.
  17. I enjoy now that Marve is out, you're going to blame the OC instead of the qb MOS is terrible MB is terrible Borhm is terrible. Fixed.
  18. woosh. I was saying that our offence was one dimensional. 20 rushing yards for our runningbacks into the 4th quarter.
  19. Marve had 28 rushing yards in the 4th quarter. All other combined running backs had 20. Judging Marve by this game is ludicrous.
  20. no one is happier than goalie that we lost today, especially with how marve played. jk but seriously. lol.
  21. i would place 70% of the blame on him. 20 on the line. 10 on willy. If you wanna really parse the numbers down lol
  22. To be honest, I feel bad for him more than anything. He's been saddled with a lot of bullshit that he doesn't deserve. The fans may deserve better, but so does our franchise player. What bullshit does he not deserve? His massive pay upgrade? The money spent on his offensive line upgrade? His 2 runningbacks as support racking up 4.8 and 5.0 yards per carry this season?
  23. this injury and all the sacks can be blamed on a lot of people. Willy for holding the ball too long and diving head first on his runs. Only an ostrich would disregard his place in this. I actually put more blame on our OC than the line. Cotton is running for more nearly 5 yards a carry this year, so the line can clearly run block. I cant imagine that they're so horrible at pass blocking but can consistently give Cotton a 4.8 ypc average. MB knows we have a pocket qb, and so do opposing defenses. We haven't been able to draw up a playbook and scheme that will give Willy a consistent safety valve to dump the ball off, screen plays to take advantage of blitzing, and quick developing short yardage routes. Almost every single pass play you see guys running at least 10 yards before making a cut or a slant. Ridiculous. It's super easy to just lay blame at the offensive line but the reality is nothing is that easy or simple.
  24. I don't understand why this is so hard to comprehend. Reading blitzes, making quick decisions, and getting rid of the ball is how Danny Mcmanus made a career. It's where Willy is lacking. Just because you don't like the argument doesn't make it invalid No the argument loses validity when you expect a qb to catch the ball and instantly throw it. Even Danny Mcmanus and Kevin Glenn, two notably quick throwers had trouble when the pressure was in their face as quickly as it's been coming for the Bombers this year. Drew Willy is the least of the problems on this team. This post is ridiculous hyperbole.
