White Out

tonight is a great test against a very tough opponent. Should answer some questions. Hell, if we win that's a couple wins against very good teams, and , .500 4 games in. Not too shabby. Lose and we're 1-3 and a lot of people will say that our win against the hammer was due to Collaros being out and an absurd number of Hammy turn overs. Very pivotal game. Looking forward to seeing the teams response out there.

I wish this post didn't have to happen. no one is disappointed we won. But it's a little early to be throwing a party. The reality is we did get their 2nd string qb who played really poorly. I praised our D heavily and they turned mistakes into points. Our offense, while they couldn't finish drives, did keep their D off the field. But no, let's continue to incite more stupid bickering right?

Edmontons defense is ripe for the picking. They've been a total mess. Edmontons offense, tho, is quite dynamic right now with the CFL's best qb and perhaps the best RB too. Lots of weapons. I'm very interested to see how we stack up against them. Next week vs Calgary? Who knows. The CFL is very much all over the place so far with really no team establishing themselves as the clear #1.

Please dont attempt to take the high ground and suggest I'm the one acting in a childish manor. People were making valid points that we have to score and that gettings lot of yards is fine unless you can't actually finish. Valid point. Perfect example of a troll being a troll. I discussed how good our defence was, and, that they were the difference. Never used the word luck or fortune. But you are simply reading what you want to read. I attribute this win to our D being tenacious and taking advantage of a very bad 2nd string QB. It wouldn't have been enough to simply force them to punt last night; our D actually went the extra mile to manufacture turn overs off mistakes and even score, too. But you can't help but read it the way you want, can you? Your constant trolling is boring.

Yes as I have already stated, for **** sakes, our D had a great game and stole a win out of the hammer. nearly verbatim. what does our D having a great night and Hamilton turning the ball over 6 times have to do with our dink and dunk offense? Unbelievable. Even on a good night with a win, it seems an argument is brewing here with the same people.

Dink and dunk is fine but you have to finish drives. Otherwise it's a lot of yards with no purpose.

alright, lets not carried away. the cats turned the ball over 6 times and their qb was about as bad as you will get. lets not chalk up the game to winning because of our dink and dunk passing.

Awesome win. The defense really showed up and basically dragged a win out of the Hammer. We can't expect to get 6 turnovers every game from the other team, though, this game should have been a much bigger spread. Willy was, ok, but really needed to ice the game away much earlier.

You only like it because he's not willing to say the Bombers are as bad as others are, and, he's not calling for MOS's head. That's your line in the sand. I don't want to take it down a notch, to be honest. I'm responding in the same levels to the original post. Don't take offence. wasn't directed at you. See that's simply not the case though. People have been discussing the pitfalls of this team and what needs changing. What 17to85 was whining about (sorry but correct word) is that people aren't focusing enough on the good things. I mean, that's such a laughable comment. This team is a total dumpster fire and we're supposed to be discussing things that are going right? Even at 50-50 content that's an insane proposition. What realistically has gone well this year? I mean, honestly? We have a great kicker now but that's being over shadowed by MOS refusing to use him, or botching time management with Willy to get him on the field. I realize it's not fun talking about all the problems we're enduring but when it's raining people talk about the rain. We aren't going to stand around in a hail storm and talk about how beautiful the sun surely is under the clouds. No, we're doing to talk about the damage to our cars and houses and how shitty the weather is as a way of collectively dealing with it all.

The team is a joke and is the laughing stock of the league. I was driving to work a couple days ago in the morning in Calgary and the sports guys were cracking jokes about the Bombers. Not how bad we were that one day, about how we're an annual free space on the bingo card and a total joke of a franchise. There's being a fan, and, then there's burying your head in the sand. What a ******* joke. You can sit there and enjoy the building caving in around you and comment on how lovely the colour of the tiles match the debris, but some people want to talk about actual events going on.
