Move the goalposts again lol you told me I couldn’t name one guy in ten years and I named eight in two seasons on two teams without even really thinking about it for more than five minutes and now you’re going to claim that’s the extent of the list so you can throw out some bullshit percentages?
This is the stuff I’m talking about, you’re just so blind to the reality of the situation because you’re dead set on defending our team at all costs.

Yeah, I was able to walk into my Shoppers Drug Mart without an appointment & got both my flu & Covid shot at the same time yesterday.

I've had 5 shots and each time the person administrating the shot told me to relax the arm, just a little sore at the injection site is what I've experienced. Wife on the other hand gets sick like clockwork the next day

Interesting. If there really is a link between tensing your arm and getting soreness, you would think they would tell you. Or maybe they do?
Pretty much the only reaction I've had is some arm soreness. Felt like someone gave me a charley horse. Might have felt a slight fever the day after and a headache.
Guess I need to learn my lesson and not flex like Arnold whenever I roll up my sleeve.

Went to get flu shot, out of flu shot but they said you want the covid booster? Looked at my phone to see only 1 bar so I said "Sure, I'm low on signal as it is."

Got my flu walk-in at Superstore last week. Covid shot booked for Monday. My son had his Covid shot booked during this week, but it was cancelled because the shipment was late.

Growing up in rural MB, I was able to take my dad's old beater out after I got my license. It was winter and I went down snowy backroads, learning how a vehicle reacts on snow and ice. I'd rip around the driveway after a snowstorm before shoveling it. Get stuck, figure my way out and get stuck again. It was so much fun and I quickly learned how to drive in poor conditions and how to get out if I got stuck.

Not sure how much I like the idea of everywhere being phone-accessible. It is already annoying how attached we are and it has been nice to go to backwoods areas without any signal.
Having something like you seem to have for emergencies seems good, but not being always connected everywhere.

I hate the current state of healthcare in this province. Inlaw has been suffering stroke-like symptoms for the past 2 weeks. Doctors at the rural hospital they are in says they need an MRI to positively diagnose and treat them, but the rural hospital isn't equipped so they need a transfer into the city or to another hospital. Every day the nurses call a stretcher service to move them and every day they fail to show up. Again and again to the point that the hospital has asked us to perform the patient transfer this morning. I said I would because what else are we going to do, we need to get that MRI, they've languished long enough as it is. But I'm not a professional, I'm not equipped for this. What happens if they seize on the highway or trip getting out of the vehicle into his wheelchair? They are nauseous and dizzy, and i cant lift them alone. Just brutal. And what if I didn't have a vehicle? Are we now calling ubers to transport patients? I knew healthcare was bad but not 'no ambulances or stretchers available for days on end' bad. Definitely writing my MLA, Manitobans deserve better.

    What to do?
Access well educated highly trained highly experienced well respected medical professionals like pharmacists versus accessing second hand third hand fourth hand information from people like 'Dr.' Theo Fleury and 'Dr.' Jamie Sale?

some people projecting their own personal beliefs on to the general public here.
Talked to the pharmacist yesterday and already looking forward to October 16th... should have both the seasonal flu shot and the brand spankin' new COVID booster in stock and ready to go. Looking forward to loading up the protection as we head into the always brutal Cold/Flu/COVID season...

Seems like a dumb thing to promise. 1) Likely(hopefully) won't be necessary any longer, 2) Basically saying they would go against health professional advice in the unlikely event that restrictions would be recommended. We've gone down that road in the past and it has only led to stricter lockdowns and needless death.
I've been disappointed with both parties efforts to win votes by promoting bad policy. Seems like they've heard from some Manitobans that they didn't like the lockdowns (duh?) and they've made it a campaign promise.

A & W also says all their chickens are raised on a vegetarian diet. That's probably true, but it's true for vast majority of chickens.

On the bright side, road construction and traffic delays have caused me to switch to commuting with my bike and it is MUCH more enjoyable experience.
My commute before road construction was about 25 minutes, now it is often an hour (full of aggravation). My commute on my old bike is only about 45 minutes. Never thought the drive across town (15 km) would be quicker on my bike, but it usually is. The commute has also gone from stress-causing to stress-relieving.

I think the issue is more HOW antibiotics are used. When I raised chickens, the recommended feed contained antibiotics. This was used as a standard course and not in response to the presence of any pathogen. I believe there have also been issues when animals are raised "antibiotic free" and they can often struggle with illnesses that could be treated to remain classified as antibiotic free.
Using antibiotics when required on livestock seems like a wise and humane thing to do. Using antibiotics routinely on healthy animals seems likely to lead to long term problems. Often antibiotics are used because of the tight confines livestock face.
