Im kinda hoping that we show him the money.   I'd like to see what he has and if this wait has been worth it..
 
failing that, I have no qualms about trading his rights as long as we get something significant in return.. this could be difficult though without any body of work to reference in trade negotiations. 

Mason did himself no favours but playing him here is the right move.
Two things imo:
1. Prevents Mason from getting further in his own head and accepting a backup role. Shows him the team still believes in him to be starting material and gives him a chance to claim the job. AND
2. Helle stays high with winning three straight games, so if we lose he comes back into the net with confidence because the loss didn't fall on him.

Much like the bombers this year, good teams find ugly ways to win. This is a game we would have blown last year 

bullshit. If BC had recovered a ball and just run out of time I'd have been more inclined to agree but the Bombers easily recovered both onside kicks, BC was never coming back in that game.

Such a stark difference in an O`shea led team vs a Jones led team. Mike has his guys humble. Get a first down. Get up and go for it again. Get a TD, quick celebration and off to the sideline to pump up the Defence. A team that plays like a team and will jump through hoops for each other and the coaches.
Jones has a complete circus going on. Premadonmas running around taking dumb penalties and crying for penalties. Stupid first down street fighter crap (what is with that)  5 min td celebrations and a complete me first attitude on the team. 
The Riders have a ton of talent no doubt. But the coaching and attitude on that team is a mess. It's going to really burn them after losing next week and going into a tailspin.

Lets not overreact. This is actually the complete opposite of a must win. That's what we get for taking care of our own business throughout the year. We have a couple kicks at the cat to lock that home game up.

Sphincter was fully tight at the end. Wheeler had a brutal game. He was gassed and mo continuously trotted him out. What was that about?! Regardless they held on. 
2-2 coming home. 7-2 and 6-3 losses are long gone. It would be nice to start off the season with a 3 game win streak, something the jets just couldn't do much of in recent years until it was too late.
Also ehlers icing them is gold. Canucks could and should have picked him instead they picked a bust in virtanen. They also ended the laine draft year on a winning streak essentially knocking them out of the draft sweepstakes. They should probably have both ehlers and laine but instead they are ours. Congrats on TSN anointing Mosaic 2.0 the "best" stadium in the league.
Too bad it isn't the loudest. And too bad the first ever game there ended up as a loss for the home crowd. The first ever win at Mosaic 2.0 belongs to the team with the loudest home crowd.
