    Rooting for the Argos because:

    1.  Going for the underdog
    2.  They are not the Leafs

    Agreed. Go argos.

The laffs are a lot like the riders to me. I just will never cheer for them. I would rather see the grey cup anywhere else and the stanley cup in the southern US if need be. Oilers fans rocketed up into that conversation after one short playoff run too. My list grows!

Comrie is/was looked upon to be a better prospect then Hellebuyck.

Yeah, draft position wise for sure.

I think this is one of those "goalies are voodoo" cases. Comrie as a full timer had .906 and then .907 career avg while Helle sported back to back .921 and .922 in the A. Granted Comrie is having the best year of his career and has reached .920 (for now). If he could maintain that we could have one hell of a duo in a couple of years when he's ready.

Statistically Helle just blows Comrie out of the water and at the end of the day that's what it comes down to regardless of draft position.

  3. Mason doesn't re-signed after his contract. Helly gets an extension of 5 years @ 4.5+ this offseason even if he falls back to earth. Mason, Hutch are now off the books and you hope that Comrie is NHL backup caliber. Comrie has been tagged as a potential NHL player but I really don't see it personally. Prove me wrong please Comrie. Can never have too many quality tenders in the NHL

  4. I can't even imagine Lapo leaving for a HC job honestly. He wants to be in Manitoba. Even when he did the coaches playbook he was living in Winnipeg and always flying back.

Why would the guy leave his position as the highest paid coordinator in the league whilst being second in line for the HC here if O'shea stumbles? All while being where he wants to be. That's not a bridge i'd imagine he's going to burn.

They are the shady group that swooped in and tried to "rescue" the Phoenix Coyotes with basically none of their own money. They essentially held the city of Glendale hostage. I think the city ended up giving them like $100 million or something.

I wouldn't trust those guys as far as I could throw them.

Agreed. I thought it was exciting news until I read who was involved. The last thing the CFL needs is an ownership group who has no problem turning on the league.
