Nice catch and effort, and great pop from the Toronto defender! Playoff football baby

Good game so far it looks like. Just tuning in after doing some errands. Great day for football!

Needs to be chanted all game long! Enough said. -
West Final GDT: Back to Back Champs vs Dome Boys

So what you’re saying is we can pass and run effectively against BC’s defence? -
Agreed. Everyone was pumping Hamilton’s tires as the superior team in 2019, people were pumping Hamilton’s tires as the under dog/home Grey cup in 2021, I say let these guys read their press articles and become over confident. I’ve never minded the lack of tires Pumped by the media, BC strikes me as a team that believe their own hype so I say the more favourable articles the better, we’ll be ready when it counts.

You just answered your own question. Get the first down, keep your offence on the field, now if it’s second and a yard take your chance because you get two chances to get a yard but not a great play call on short and third. Especially not a sweep where you’re moving latterly.

He’s been bad for awhile. Now has the honour of losing in the western semi finals to three different teams in three consecutive years.

Watched all quiet on the western front this weekend. Great movie. I love World War One based movies. It was well done. Didn’t glorify war, showed the true horrors, I was very uncomfortable the whole movie watching it, like a sense of dread. I never read the original novel nor saw the first two adaptations so I can’t talk about how faithful it was to the source material however as a stand-alone war movie I thought it was great. 9/10

Two young Qb’s with a lot to play for. Easy to do in July when it doesn’t matter. With our secondary getting healthy I feel pretty good about playing either one of these teams next week.

I see snow right now in the south end of town.

Sloppy game so far. Neither of these teams scare me that much if they come to Winnipeg like this.

Typical Trevor Harris. One of the worst big moment QB’s I’ve ever seen. Has he done anything in the second half?

Seems weird to me Hamilton gets it in 2021, and 2023.. -

I love the CFL but man oh man is this ever amateur hour, I could see why things like this, TSN’s production, terrible scheduling, and horrible marketing (or lack of marketing) hurts the perception of the league and makes it tough to gain new fans. -

But he wasn’t the best running back. He barely averaged 4 yards a carry and had zero rushing touchdowns. This was based strictly off of reputation. -

At first glance I didn’t notice any Riders on the list but I saw KSB ended up making it. It’s funny to see the posters on the rider board thinking there’s a league wide conspiracy against the Riders. The hard truth is bad teams rarely get a lot of representation. -

What argument am I making? I simply pointed out that he wasn’t even the leading rusher on his own team and made it as a CFL all star, his counter part Quellete also had a full yard per carry higher then Harris and two more touchdowns. It was a bad choice. -

Donald Rutledge jr being on the practise roster and being named an Allstar is funny to me. -

His offence was far from innovative in Indianapolis. I’ve never seen a team in the NFL achieve less than the sum of their parts. -

I think the Bombers have a good chance at sweeping the awards they’re all nominated for. -
Another obvious one is Joe Rogan, I won’t catch every episode but when he had an interesting guest on I’ll tune in, guys like Graham Hancock, and Randal Carlson are must listen to in my opinion.

Under the influence is another good one. It’s been awhile since I’ve listened, thanks for the reminder!

I didn’t see any thread related to podcasts so I apologize if there was one already made at some point but curious to see if anyone has any good recommendations for podcasts, or what kind of podcasts people here listen to. I have a lot of down time at work, so I usually have a podcast on while I plug through my work. One podcasted I’m really into right now is a neuroscientist named Andrew Huberman, he’s fantastic he puts a lot of effort and information into his podcasts and he’s someone I respect a lot. A few other podcasts I listen to is stuff you should know, Jordan Peterson, Mind Pump (fitness podcast), the mindset mentor, and I’m pretty into fantasy sports so the fantasy footballers is a great podcast when I’m looking for something light to listen to.
