I believe there was podcast confirmation that MBT was in fact not making his way to Ottawa.

I don’t think MBT comes back to the CFL. His wife is one of the head writers for Marvel and Netflix and he has little ones. I wouldn’t be surprised if he moves on from his football career up north.

He didn’t bail on us, he was a free agent who had a chance to become a starter, he didn’t cost them the grey cup, the bombers cost themselves the grey cup, how do you know it was unscripted? He has the pass run option all season so I doubt it was unscripted, look I’m not a big fan of losing Pigrome either but Prukop helps us win games now as a valuable short yardage guy.

And really doesn’t try to run backwards or side to side that much. Even if he’s not breaking long ones he’s taking what’s given straight ahead and usually making a few guys miss. I remember some of the really good return guys of the 2000’s would be boom or bust sometimes dancing around and losing yards.

Yeah I don’t really see it here the optimism comes from. It’s painfully obviously the riders aren’t good enough, and Harris is a stop gap quarterback. Sure he could put up some yards in a 20 point loss but this is who he is. He won’t be a guy that can move the needle, and his game can’t make up the fact that the Riders just don’t have the players to compete for a championship. If you’re satisfied with 7-9 wins then he’s your guy.
