Interested to see if Wheatfall gets back into the line up after the best game of the season from Zach.

Winning the turn over battle, and dominating the trenches, I remember the years when the Bombers would routinely do that. Who would have thought that correlates into wins!

Pickett was gone and in Ottawa the year Jones lost his job and Mcmannis has been in Toronto just as long as Jones was in Toronto so no that has nothing to do with anything. And yeah Tony Jones and Kyrie Wilson would absolutely be starters in this league on other rosters based on their play this year.

Meh he was good in Toronto, lost his job there, couldn’t crack a spot here, it’s not like there wasn’t an opportunity here to some degree because Younger likes using several linebackers in his schemes. Woodbrey who started lower on the pecking order surpassed Jones over time and just had an outstanding game.

I don’t think Wheatfall was ever the problem. He’s a decent receiver but I feel like the receivers we rostered today fit perfectly in what Zach can do. Guys that can run routes and catch the intermediate balls. Wheatfall was an okay deep shot receiver but not a great middle of the field catcher, but now Wilson and Demski can both stretch the field and Sterns is a great at those shorter routes. I think the wild card is obviously Dillion Mitchell. By far his best game as a bomber. We need more of that if we’re going to go on a run.

Honourable mention to the play calling. This was the best called game since the opener in B.C? Very creative, played to Zach and Brady’s strengths and we couldn’t be stopped all game, loved the screen passes, shovel passes, and mix of intermediate routes and when to take a chance deep, and when to leave it to Brady to play bully ball.

One of the best rosters they’ve had all season. Feeling a little more optimistic.

Yeah I think it’s funny how it’s just taken as a matter of fact scoring will increase significantly, I see it the other way where instead of long field goals you’ll see a lot more corner coffin punts. Do you really think all these teams will be going for it around the 40-45 yard line? I doubt it.

There’s not much we can do 14 games into the season but we can admit that Hogan is in over his head. Fire him and let Jarious take over. He’s more than capable with his experience to implement a quick turn around.

Biggest issue low key, how many times did the pocket start to close like I’m talking very slightly and he stopped going through his progressions. If his first or second read aren’t there he isn’t keeping his eyes downfield the field and that’s a problem.

Honestly Brady was great considering everybody in the stadium knew who was getting the ball on first down. He had some very tough runs against a good run defense.

Not really. The special teams have been outstanding and the D has been great minus the first drive. But yes the O is absolutely putrid.

3-7 in last 10, lost three in a row, grey cup year, we should be making all the moves to get the best players we can on this roster at all times, looks like Walters and O’Shea are asleep at the wheel, what do you expect when O’Shea is talking about performances from 6 years ago, I don’t care what what you’ve done six years ago or six games ago. If you’re not getting it done, get off the field.

We don’t have 2019 Chris Streveler on this roster. Yeah he was never a great passer, but he used to have the speed and power to be one of the most unique players in the league at the time but hes not that player anymore. Not even close.

Toronto, Hamilton, Montreal, Calgary, Ottawa, and Saskatchewan all signing players in the last couple of days trying to get better, BC brought in a few new bodies last week as well. Winnipeg is all status quo! 3-7 in our last 10 games and hosting the grey cup and zero sense of urgency to try something different when things aren’t working. At this point we’re a threat to not even make the playoffs in any capacity.

Listening to the post game, O’Shea said Strevelers play was gritty and made some great throws, and that not once did he think about making a change at quarterback. Absolutely delusional.

I sure hope so. Grey Cup year this is inexcusable. so if Wade had the balls I would clean house.

Wow I can’t believe it. RIP Ted. Just a tremendous loss for the league. My condolences to his family.

It’s Myron Mitchell. The guy is beyond useless and he got every opportunity in the world to show something.

Yeah this isn’t like a 2019 team that started out hot had some injuries then came together at the right time. It’s closer to the 2008 Bombers. Old, good enough to squeak in but absolutely not good enough to compete.
