The speculation was that they wanted more humour, not more darkness. BvS was joyless and heavy. The rumour was all the jokes in Suicide Squad were in the first trailer. But the director and actors have said the reshoots are not adding humour. Supposedly adding even more action. The director implied that the studio loved the film so let the director add whatever he wanted. I guess in a way its increasing the budget after seeing the film and realizing how good it is. I wonder if they will add some more Batman to it.

I really like the tone of Suicide Squad. And their marketing has been tremendous. One concern is that they were sent back in for re-shoots...three weeks worth which is a lot. My other concern is that this is WB rushing through things by showing us an assembled group of bad guys without any introduction to the bad guys. But I guess the one main story line in DCCU is that Batman is 40+ so there are 20 years worth of Batman bad guys.

Supposedly they want to go in a more Analytic direction. Seems odd to me. This team had no money and multiple ownership issues and the GM managed to put together a pretty darn good list of prospects. Now someone else will come in and look like a genius when this prospects all come together. Other speculation (or is it just the Big Show guys) that this might be the ownership wanting to get Mathews no matter the cost.

We would have to retain 50%. Calgary seemed like a soft landing spot but there will be other UFA goalies namely Reimer. So we're probably stuck with Pavs

The reason the mainstream media would never print something like that is because the editor would realize that most laymen would get about three paragraphs in and go crosseyed. I really enjoyed it (and I know nothing). If Im a Freep editor Im asking the writer if we can print it. Perhaps including a weekly column that focuses more on information for "deep" fans would be a positive for the newspaper. Because even if you don't really understand a lot of it, it did a good job of explaining things and educating.

Glad to hear this. I think what WB doesn't understand is its so important to have the right person overseeing the vision. Marvel has that. And WB thought they did with Snyder. But its WB;s own fault for keeping him after MoS. He was clearly in over his head. The other mistake WB's made was rushing to catch up with Marvel.

BvS is trending to make less profit then Man of Steel. Studio now has two execs taking a more hands on approach with Justice League. Sounds like they lost confidence with Snyder but don't have time to replace him.

I believe it was the beginning of this season when they were trying different things. Maybe even pre-season. Little prefers to play centre though. But his best season was as a RW.

If they screwed Connor for political reasons that should make his decision easy. Screw em. Come be a big star in the NHL.
