I would guess that Balor will one day be WWE Champion. I'm sure many saw Bryan on NXT and said he'd never be a top guy.
-
Not a chance. Balor will be an top level guy eventually. He's very talented.
-
The make up and stuff is his alter ego demon I guess. I assume the chainsaw and coat were just because they were in Texas. Texas chainsaw massacre

Over 80% drop this weekend for BvS. Awful numbers Hope thats a wake up call for WB. Snyder is all wrong to helm the DCCU.
-
I agree. American Alpha will be huge. Very talented. Hopefully they don't split them up too soon thinking Gable can be a top guy. He can be but let them be a dominant tag team for awhile. They'd fit in perfectly with Kurt Angle. Nak vs Zayn was great. Nak is a great character. He might need to work on that physique for Vince to have faith in him. Bailey is a very very good worker. With a natural charisma. She could be a top woman that draws young girls because she has that organic emotional connection. And Asuka is tremendous. Main event was really hurt by the docs. If that was a Hunter match it wouldnt have happened . Some speculation that it was due to the commission. But sure the medics checked it. It's a cut. It's not dangerous. Let them wrestle. I see nothing in Corbin at all but a tall guy with no build, bad hair and zero charisma. Big Cass is a way better big man.

There are rumors they might be called Bullet Proof or some combination of both

Imminently. I'd guess Monday. But Sunday isnt out of the question. They are supposedly in Dallas right now.

Mironov was okay though. Remember Davydov? He was what passed for "elite" here. I remember a Hockey Night in Canada broadcast where he got checked into the boards and his face smashed against the TV camera. Whatever happened to that guy?? EDIT: Didnt know this: On January 4, 1987, Davydov was playing for the Soviet Union's team at the 1987 World Junior Championship. In the infamous Punch-up in Piestany, Davydov was identified as the player who jumped the boards and caused a bench-clearing brawl. Both teams were ejected from the tournament and Canada lost an assured medal.[1]

Nak should be HUGE in WWE.

Between you and me (lol), they almost brought him back not that long after he left. Tommy Dreamer was involved in developmental and was high on Kenny. Dreamer called Kenny to ask if he'd consider returning for a main roster spot. He called because he said when creative comes up with new gimmicks (for no one specific), Kenny's name often came up as someone that they could use, so Dreamer wanted to make sure Kenny would actually come so Dreamer wasnt pushing for him only to have Kenny say no. Also when that Russian (Koslov, I think his name was) was in developmental with Kenny, it was Omega that worked him a lot. So when it was time to bring Koslov up, they wanted to bring Kenny with him so he had someone he was comfortable with as he got acclimated. But a veteran they werent using stepped in and said why call up the kid when I can work with Koslov. I think it was Val Venis. Kenny & Koslov were good friends in developmental, they might have roomed together. But Koslov was a work in progress to say the least. He was once told to go to the ring and squash Kenny and leave...so he did except he didnt pin him because he wasnt specifically told to "get the pin"...so Kenny won via Count Out when he wasnt supposed to...lol I'd almost say to look for Omega and the Bucks to go to WWE as a package deal. Give it 1-2 years. Maybe in 2018 we're watching Bullet Club vs The Elite on RAW.

Kenny & The Bucks and the New Day are having fun with their "program" they are working online. New Day has even managed to get some stuff on WWE television (sweeping etc). I would say if you had to bet on it, to bet on Kenny in WWE eventually. Its where everyone wants to eventually go because 1) money 2) its the top promotion. Kenny values New Japan immensely so being a top guy there is like being a top guy in WWE to most American wrestlers. But eventually..... I remember talking to him about NXT and the Samoa Joe deal sort of gave some guys hope. WWE developmental was a place a lot of guys avoided expecially if they had worked around the world and were "above" developmental. But Joe being there and being used well, respected, keeping his name etc showed guys there was a different mind set. William Regal is the international scout and I can tell you he's talked to Kenny many times...Omega is well known to WWE. He's probably the best star in the world not in WWE as far as someone who could walk into WWE tomorrow and be a pushed star in the main roster. WWE is very surprised by how over AJ Styles is. They always considered his fans to be a small vocal minority but they realise now that big international stars are still big stars. So it raises the value for everyone.

@Atomic That's a good guess on the Andre Battle Royale I hadnt considered. Mark Henry is supposedly retiring after WrestleMania. Could definitely see that.
-
That wouldnt last very long. But Omega & The Bucks inserted into the New Day vs League of Nations match would be dynamite.

Reports circulating of a "major surprise" at WrestleMania and the name is someone I'd never expect, especially as a surprise and not as someone pre-promoted. Spoilers so I wont say in this post. By the way, Scott Hall is in Dallas and is in tremendous physical shape. Whatever these 40-somethings are on (Hunter, Hall, Shane) I need some. I guess its just DDP Yoga. ;-)

Batman v Superman Spoiler Thread
The Unknown Poster replied to Logan007's topic in General Discussion
One reason April Fool's is the stupidest thing ever is the fact that there is a story of Snyder being replaced making the rounds and many sites are not making it obvious its a joke. Whats the point? Stupid. -
Wasnt there a story of Mike Smith at the draft where when it was the Jets turn they just randomly picked a name off a list of Russian players? He was that determined to draft Russian.

This might be a lame question. I have an Xbox One and I like a few games. The gf is not a gamer at all but loves Super Mario Bros. So on our Wii, we play it together. Played it ten times now. Is Super Mario Bros U worth getting a Wii U for? Is the Wii U worth it?

Its becoming a scenario where even if its technically a legal hit but could impact the head, players will have to avoid doing it. But I agree on the size difference in that if Chara hits Enstrom and Toby's head is impacted by Chara's chest, what's Chara to do about that? But those hits arent the norm so its not something they have to give too much thought to, I dont think. Its important to protect heads and this whole CTE thing but I also believe we have to be careful about over-reacting. I tweeted Gary about a study I heard about linking steroid use to CTE which would explain long-retired players suffering, those that were more prone to use juice when the risk werent as well known and testing wasnt available or as good.

Jets Sign Tanev
The Unknown Poster replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I would say a good 4th liner. But listening to people talk about him, he might be a 3rd liner. But maybe an everyday solid 4th liner who gets extra minutes on Special Teams. Improves the Jets' bottom six. And with Lemieux coming, that also improves the Jets' bottom six. We might see the biggest improvement from that area next season. With Lemiuex, Tanev, Dano, depth might not be an issue for the team. -
So much for thoughts of Crosby's demise. If he scored at this clip all season, he'd be running away with it.
