Is there a way to make paper out of weed? So you could just roll the paper empty, smoke it and get high? Someone should invent that. BTW, I have never smoked pot. Just sayin...

Green candidates should print their ads on rolling paper. Then you could at least smoke it once you've done reading it. Include a bit of weed with it too. Probably get a lot of votes that way.

@Rich- thats great news. Dave has been a model candidate but he has a history of rude and unprofessional behavior towards people. Ill be glad to see him go. The stories you hear, he seems emotionally unstable or stunted.

A media friend told me my MLA Dave Gaudreau thinks he's going to win but might very well lose. The PC's seemed to come out of nowhere and there are a ton of PC signs all over.

So do we assume where the PC's focused they felt they could take the seat and where the NDP fought back hard it was where they thought they were at risk of losing?

Quick bit of personal information. My dad has Parkinson's. He's now in the palliative program which is very good and does everything possible to keep you at home and comfortable. And because its my dad's wish to be at home, he is. But he has support around him. It was also my parent's knowledge and research that made being in the program possible. I wonder how many know about it.

Couple of things. I was only half right on the RAW spoiler. Turns out that In regards to TNA, it had previously been reported (and I mentioned it here) that a potential investor had loaned them money to be able to make the last set up TV tapings. Well it turns out there was a condition attached to that loan which required TNA to make a payment on said loan either today or tomorrow and if the payment wasnt made, majority interest of TNA would default to the Investors who are a company that the Harris Bros are involved with. Dixie's plan was to take the loan while searching for another investor that would let he keep 51% interests, pay back the Harris' and keep running TNA. if Dixie cant make the payment, the Harris' will end up in control of TNA, probably tomorrow. But lets say, for fun, it all comes to a head on Wednesday. The neo-Nazi Harris could actually gain control of TNA due to a defaulted loan payment on Hitler's birthday. Yowza. You cant make up craziness like that. Ill speculate that if the Harris' gain control that you could see Jeff Jarrett back in (he originally hired the Harris in TNA years ago) and possibly Russo, although last I heard Jarrett and Russo were not buddies anymore. So realistically you could get a really dumbed down version of the WWE/WCW iNvasion with Jarrett in the Shane McMahon role and Global Force Wrestling invading TNA...except the invaders would win and TNA would be branded over as GFW (assuming the new owners haveat least half a brain between the two of the, which is debatable since they are neo-nazi's, and realise TNA as a brand is worthless and poisoned.

I assumed Palps was faking being beat by Mace but as the prequels were so poorly written and directed, it wasnt very clear. Same with his disfigurement. Lots of speculation. I think Lucas said it was as simple as Palps being struck with the deflected lightning that did it, which makes very little sense. I always liked the idea that Palps was very, very old and keeping himself alive through dark side powers and his more "youthful" appearance was a facade he generated with his power. Once revealed, he no longer had any need to keep up the facade. And assuming it took a lot of energy to keep up the facade it was in his interest to not do so. Also made it seem like the Jedi crippled him. Unfortunately, the make up in SITH was so bad...so fake. Palps' make up looked way better in JEDI.

Yup. Weeding out the non-emergencies would be great. I havent had to go to the ER in ages but I used to go to Mis because for some reason they were always super fast in the middle of the night, not so fast during the day. Went for stitches, broken bones a couple of times. But there seem to be a lot of people in ER's who are not in need of emergency care. Some probably because they dont have a doctor so have nowhere else to go. They should be attending Walk In Clinics during the day. My local Walk In is terrific, they tell you a time for your appt so you dont have to wait around if you dont want to/cant. No sitting around for four hours waiting.

If it's Palpatine kneeling...its very interesting. I dont see him as having a master. Vader was his apprentice. if we get really fanboyish, the story Palps told of Darth Plagius is almost true, but instead if Palps killing him, he severly injured him, disfigured him and kept him alive, perhaps to taunt, perhaps to use as an advisor. Perhaps the intention was to kill him, but Plagius truly learned the secret to immortality and didnt die. And Plagius is Snoke. That would certainly connect all the trilogies.

Im pretty sure it isnt an either/or choice. There are many problems with Canadian health care. Money would solve many of them. But there are too many people using ER's when they dont need it. Doctor's who are seeing too few patients in a period of time. You've got ambulance medics sitting around in the hallway with patients on stretchers for ages because they arent being triaged and the health authority is billed for the ambulance medics' time.

The wait time clock is also never correct and, in fact, at HSC ER, it was displaying a shorter time and the nurse remarked that it hadnt been accurate in weeks. No one cares until its on the front page.

@gcn11 Truly awful. This is a [party that won power based on fixing the health care system and eliminating hall way medicine. Shameful shameful. I have elderly parents and my dad has Parkinsons. I've spent many hours in ER's over the past few years. And basically you need to pack for a weekend out of town when you go. It's horrendous. And just ludicrous. I dont know what the Doc's are doing but they arent seeing patients. I remember working for Grace Hosp and occasionally being tasked with "waking up the doc". They would let people sit in the waiting room until enough patients were there that it was worth waking up the over-worked doctor.
