That's very impressive!

So the new hot rumor in TNA land is that the investors/impending buyers are the Harris Twins. They run a production company that was (or is, I cant recall) the production company for TNA. They are also some variant of white supremacists/Nazi's. Which should go over really well with the head of their network POP who is, I believe Jewish.

I find that my favourites definitely change based on my pool. Otherwise I likely wouldnt care much about the playoffs without the Jets. Although I do love the Pens. Florida losing hurts a couple guys in my pool too. Nashville winning helps me a lot. Unfortunately one guy took a ton of Tampa and San Jose players so Im hoping for an LA comeback as that guy is cleaning up right now. Im mostly Pens & Preds.

I think the three properties account for a vacation home and surrounding area. ie. there is nothing on the property. And the value was rather low as is. If his plan is to eventually sub-divide or simply sell them to others building homes or developers, then it sounds like a good investment.

I like the idea of somewhat connecting the prequel trilogy but I doubt they will ever make any major connections. Using whatshisname who played Anakin, I can see that. But nothing that requires one to review Attack of the Clones for plot points.. lol I saw a video that laid out an interesting perspective on that one clip from the Rogue One trailer that showed Emperial Royal Guardsmen and a cloaked figure apparently kneeling. The speculation was he was kneeling before a Bacta tank and it was Palpatine kneeling. Well who would Palp kneel before? Speculation is Snoke. I doubt it. But its an interesting theory. -
I agree. And I was the "devil's advocate" around my circle saying "well he shouldnt have lied". But it doesnt seem like anything is going to kill the PC momentum. if Im him though, I make sure I spend as much time here as I can at least the first year. I dont think anyone begrudges the Premier a vacation. It wasa running joke that if you wanted to ask Katz a question, dont bother on Fridays as he wasnt in town. If Pallister's vacation home was in PHX, then I doubt there would be anything being made of it. But "foreign country" plays better in the wake of Panama. or at least they thought it did. But I also think so many people see the NDP as running a dirty campaign based on lies and nonsense that they've tuned out anything they might say. The robo call I got yesterday from...Blady(?) that immediately began running down Pallister as a liar...just made me want to vote PC even more.

So...Im very much looking forward to tomorrow and the vanquishing of the NDP here in Manitoba. I hope the desperate campaigning by the NDP doesnt have an impact at the polls and the PC's do in fact win a historic majority. The Costa Rica issue hasnt played to the NDP in my small circle. We discussed it at work and, not knowing how my co-workers intended to vote, they all dismissed the costa rica thing as a non issue. Several people said things like "Good for him" (in regards to owning a vacation home) others said "if I could afford it, I'd have a place there too". A couple remarked that it didnt matter if someone was out of the country in this day and age as they are always connected. Seems to me it was an attempt to piggy back on the Panama scandal. Im hoping strongly that Dave Gaudreau is booted out. I was told by someone in media that Dave believes he's going to win but that many others think Reyes might upset him. And even Selinger's seat isnt safe

Well Bob Backlund had a pedigree as a long time World Champion though. He was a lousy worker though. But I agree, there is a place for acts like the Social Outcasts. Again, it might not make for compelling TV, but its serving a purpose on the house shows. And they are decent enough workers, they are basically shining up other guys on their way up. Slater seems to have a niche. The 3 Man Band was the same thing.

Go Preds

I do agree. I am not a fan.

I'm not sure if he had the same gimmick but I bo-Lieve he did.
-
Me too. In St norbert. A campaign designed to scare the stupidest voters. Something to be proud of.

As soon as I flip to Nash game to check the score, isles score. Good for my pool anyway. Go isles

Don't forget Bo Dallas was one of the longest reigning NXT champions ever. Lol

Big victory by St Louis. Critical game three that more often than not determines the series outcome.

Im digging this song from Vinyl (HBO) That's Mick Jagger's kid on lead vocals. And for those of you who haven't seen the show yet, here's a great scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anWc88q2GhE

Its most;y how they're booked. Labelled as jobbers so really hard to ever be more than that. But they get a bit of TV time so they can work house shows where they are more effective. Breeze is really good. Regarding Slater, he was Bret Hart's hand picked guy to work with when he came back. He was so concerned about getting hurt, that Slater was the only guy he wanted to mix it up with with. Slater also had all those matches with the old legends. So he's definitely trusted.

Some of Rey's powers are related to Anakin. He had visions of the future. I guess Luke did to, when he was with Yoda but only when he really concentrated. It didn't come naturally to him. Im not sure how much Rogue One will relate to the saga. Probably not at all but I would bet in some way it does. One theory is -

I like the idea of her being a Skywalker. I know some don't felling like its too much of a coincidence of closed loop and makes the Skywalkers too royal. i like the idea this family is so important to the Galaxy. -
They're both lucky to still have jobs. Might not for very long.

Go Nashville!

This looks interesting:

Saw Fleury and Malkin are both game time decisions. Malkin was doing line rushes and taking part in full practice. Looks ready to me.

2016 Draft Standings

That's good. Should have made a change to ensure it doesnt happen this year. I can see the argument against it. Poor teams will say how can you legislate bad seasons out of the top spot? If a team is bad, its bad and thats the purpose of the lottery. But I think any of the 29 other teams that had the picks Edmonton had the last few years would have done a lot better. Cant reward poor management.
