Would expect Bray to be in line for a push. Although it would make more sense for him to be a heel since they are weak on the heel side. But it could be as simple as someone saying "hey there are three New Day and three Wyatts and three LON, lets have them feud".
-
Yes one would assume they are faces now.

Well Vincr wasn't really gone. It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him for awhile. He didn't want to come back in the first place but did to try and get Roman over. i thought them trying to explain away the crowd was rather stupid. Like you said it changes the organic cool feeling when wwe pretends like they're in on it. Especially trying to imply the fans usually cheer roman. Very surprised Crews was called up. He's very green. His match tonight (against his best opponent from NxT) was his complete highlight package. Still see nothing in Corben. Nothing at all. He looked lost the whole match. on the other hand, Enzo & Cass are great. Won't be long before vince salivates over Cass and wants to split them up. Too bad they didn't bring Carnella up too. In fact, if they are going to program with Dudleys sign Bubba's girlfriend Velvet Sky and have six man tags too. Good to see Maryse back. They should have put her with Miz years ago. How long before they split them up to try to screw with a legit couple? the Shane gimmick was stupid since nothing really happened. Cesaro back is cool but I was hoping for Joe. Maybe they really will turn Roman because he isn't getting cheered against AJ. But at least the matches have a chance of being decent. So AJ lost last night because he was winning today. 50/50 booking as usual. Terrible. No Bullet Club. Hmmm maybe Hunter wants the rub off bringing them in when he's back. Love the crowd. The only time they were annoying was the women's segment because the reason the women were always treated as thoigh no one cared was because of the fans not cAring. But they wanted Baley which would have made sense. But they ended up showing respect anyway. other than that they made a lot of guys seem like major stars like Crews, Enzo & Cass and KO. The only opposite reaction I think to any great degree was Roman.

Shane has jumped from higher places in the past and had stiffer matches (Angle).

The PA works for the players. If the players wanted harsher penalties then they would tell the PA to work for that.
-
I imagine he's sore. But the fall was padded. I'm sure the ladder match guys are sore too. Hurt, yes. Injured, no.

Undertaker telling people last night was his last match which is why he symbolically left his gloves in the ring. He's booked on the European tour though and has made the same decision right after prior wrestle manias so you never know He looked really beat up last night. Rumors for tonight include Anderson & Gallows and Enzo & Big Cass. Supposedly Balor already flew home. There had been talk of Joe coming up ager WM months ago but who knows. They actually had 97,000+ legit in the building which is a big success obviously. They expected just over 85,000 but there was a huge walk up crowd. They made he set a bit different this year to allow for seating behind it. And no reported injuries.

The age of the viewer is much older than the age of the house show audience. They can't get their "hardcore" fans to go to live events in great numbers. With Roman specifically I don't think its a dislike of him. It's iust a rejection of the booking. And it's deserved. WWE picks a guy to push and if he's not who the fans love that doesn't matter to WWE. But it matters to the fans. Plus the booking has been bad. Roman was over in the Sheild. He was hurt by the rise of Bryan to a degree. But Roman is an example of a guy who is average at everything. And the fans know it. they really have two choices. Stay the course and book him strong and hope the fans end up "used" to him on top and come around. Or turn him. But they can't turn him with a convoluted motive. They need to look at Rock in 1998 and have Roman turn on the fans for turning on him.

WWE as an entity is at a point where it's generating more revenue then ever before but probably at its worst creatively. Maybe mid 90's was worse when Vince was on trial but today they are the only game in time in the western world, have all the talent and tons of great business minds. They would have to be really really really bad for a really long time to have a major negative impact on their bottom line. The creation of the network further indemnifies them from creative up and down swings. Whereas a bad ppv or bad TV could impact their revenue in the short term, that isn't as likely with the network which is a growth stream for them. They won't have to worry until their TV contracts come due. Then they will focus on ratings. They still see it as important but not as much. Which is why they never respond to the fans. They just stay the course. WM was a very stay the course, by the numbers show. We will see tonight what they have up their sleeves in terms of new creative.

WWE Network Subs announced today. 1.82 million. 1.45 million paid. Ryder is on top of the world. Win s IC title at WM and is dating Emma. Lucky guy.

Originally New Day vs LON was 3 on 4 and was for the tag team titles. They dropped the title match aspect, probably when they decided LON had to go over for the post match. Right up until the show started it was still scheduled to be a 3 on 4 so that was a last minute change. Wade has been hurt Gave his notice too, supposedly. Shane had to do the dive. That's his schtick. It was was very safely done. A risk no doubt but as safely done as leaping off the cage can be. Interesting thing about Ryder, you can bet on wrestling. And usually the odds will suddenly turn shortly before the show because they hold their final production meeting and then the staff all go and put money down on the finishes using inside information. Money began switching to Ryder on Saturday. Right before the show the money was switching back to Owens. So there was obviously some discussion about it. Owens was originally scheduled to win. A new thing this year was WWE using the giant screens as "cue cards" to lead chants including "woooooo" for Charlotte, co-opting Bayley's chant for New Day and counting up the suplexes for Brock. Have to assume the direction is Roman vs Brock. Ambrose is now a mid card guy. A loveable loser. Id suspect Roman vs Brock happens ASAP to try and get Roman over. But we'll see tonight. Wrestle mania shattered prior gate and revenue records. The 101,000 number isn't real though. Under 90,000 but still a record. Apparently they also had a terrible time getting people in the building with ticket scanners that weren't working and you had to enter through the gate assigned or else they just wouldn't let you i in. Thats why it took so long for the building to fill up.

Jets will end up picking 7. And this season will feel like it was all for naught -
Game 79 : Wild @ Lost

Well maybe. But are we waiting for Thorbs and Hali to generate points? werent you high on Armia about two weeks ago? -
Average WM. I'll hve to watch it again to say for sure. Some idiotic booking. Jericho over AJ? Why? To make sure AJ isn't as over as he could be? Will have to see the next chapter of the story but it just seems like them putting a guy in his place instead of the feel good victory speaking.... The new Women's championship is long over due. But they just announce it. Should hve let someone get over. And when you make a change you need to actually make a change. I like Charlotte a lot. But they will never ever ever have as good a story for Sasha. With the crowd wanting her to win, with her cousin Snoop dog with it being her first WM, the Eddie stuff. I just don't get it. Womens match was the best thing on the show. Brock/Anbrose wasn't much of a match. Ambrose gets beat up the whole way and loses. What a top guy. HIAC wasn't good either but the spots were. Shane is nuts. The story is pointless without Shane winning but I guess he just wanted to let his kids watch him wrestle one time and WWE needed a match. The stretcher job is likely to write him out of WWE. Steph's intro for Hunter was awfully self indulgent. Trying to get a heel reaction though. No dice. No one cares about roman. Which is worse then when they boo him. So so match. Not as good as last year. Surprised at the lack of angles on the show. Saving them for RAW I guess. They need a big angle on raw because a roman "reign" in the usual downtime after WM sounds like disaster.
-
Yeah we had this whole debate about it lol So much for refusing to waive his NTC which would help the team because he wanted to win a championship in Tampa. Well I guess he could still return if Tampa makes it deep.
-
My predictions above. With the caveat that I am usually really bad at predicting WWE lol
-
I think I'd have them cost the undertaker the HIAC and have Shane introduce them on RAW with a big put over. To be honest them defeating league of nations right away isn't a terrible idea if only because LON has been pushed as top guys. But I'm not sure who they should be programmed with. It depends what the angle is. If Shane wins then you could have heels side with Hunter and try to take out shane from the inside. Given hunter's role it makes more sense for Bullet club to be his guys but they have to be faces I would think there is talk of Joe being called up. He'd be a strong heel. But I could see him vs roman or with roman if roman turned heel. Talk of Enzo and Big Cass coming up too.
-
Yeah but knowing wwe they will debut and be programmed with league of jobbers.
-
I would think we will see the Bullet Club, or whatever they call it, debut tomorrow or Monday. But I would guess AJ wouldn't be in it. Balor, gallows, Anderson. But you never know. Word is that wwe is still talking to guys about making WM appearances and that some of the names would be surprising. Every guy of note is in Dallas whether for WWE or not so could be a million cameos. Or none. You just never know. To everyone recording the show, extend your PVR as WWE has told PPV companies they might be going over time.
-
Wow! Should have traded him!
-
The only thing is that when they signed him it was a big deal to bring in a top New Japan guy. Now they have others. and actually the word is four Indy guys working various shows in Dallas this weekend hve been offered wwe deals. So they are continuing to recruit heavily.

Hall of Fame was fun. I enjoyed all the speeches. It's emtoional watching these guys who's careers are over come back and be honoured. Shame Sting announced his retirement. But his last match was the main event, a world title match and drew a surprisingly good buy rate. Goes out on top. Snoop's speech was excellent and should be edited into a video for Sasha. Michael Hayes was dynamite. I always loved Jimmy Jam Garvin and seeing him out there looking like an old accountant doing the Freebird dance was tremendous. He's actually an airline pilot. i like seeing the guys in crowd having fun too. Austin always seems to love these things. And Scott Hall looked like a kid in a candy store every time the camera was on him. Cena looks smaller. Lol. What a great reaction though.
-
I'm not sure Id use Nash as an example of a big guy who can work lol. He was a guy in the right place at the right time...a lot!
-
You really could be right. There have been talents that never got their due in WWE. I think they see him as something special though. But not everyone can win the title.
-
Looks like Kota Ibushi and Bobby Roode are both with WWE now. Very good signings. Kota I could see doing the cruiser weight tournament end getting a push out of it. Roode could be on raw right now but will probably be a veteran to work nxt. I was very impressed with Joe. Thoight he would win the title so Balor could move up. Wouldn't be surprised to be Joe on raw on Monday. He has a big time presence about him. Him and Brock would be s good program.
