  1. Burke and Mack made a huge mistake hitching their jobs to Buck Pierce and they'll probably (rightfully so I might add) pay with their jobs.
  2. I still contend to this day that we would be a better team today and in the future if Joey Elliot was our starting QB.
  3. Pierce has regressed every single year hes been here. Its gotten to the point that even if he is healthy enough to play hes a liability on the field. Edwards and Denmark also don't cut it, it might time to replace them with two of Poblah(for the ratio), Anderson and Doug Pierce. Clearly this team has a lot of issues on the offensive side of the ball, but our defense should be good enough to win us around 8 games this year.
  4. We would be stupid to lose Palardy, but with our new found wealth of quality Canuck receivers it'll suck to lose one or two of them.
  5. If we get decent QB play this year, second(and even first place) is definitely up for grabs in the East.
  6. I am by no means a Kevin Glenn fan, but yes he would be an upgrade over Buck at this point in time IMO.
  7. I don't pretend to be an expert about the O-line but the Esks O-line is a walking talking atrocity.
  8. Everyone is remembering his success late in 2011 a little too fondly. He's been complete trash since he left.
  9. Bluto made it to the finals last year by almost exclusively using Kackert. Anyways, I pick Cornish.
  10. I know this sounds like a six year old broken record, or saying a car runs great without an engine, but boy I feel like we have a really talented team. We just need good play from our Quarterback, which even a healthy Buck Pierce can't provide.
  11. I would imagine Markett, Douglas, Anderson and the backup center are the guys who sit.
  12. You can't win without a decent QB, as much as it pains me to say this, I feel like dumping Buck and going back to Glenn for a year while Goltz and Hall develop might've been a better idea.
  13. I'm going with the under, he'll start 7 and finish 4 or 5.
  14. Muamba should be on the list, and Larry Taylor being ahead of Chad Simpson is a travesty. Chad Simpson being the 6th ranked running back is actually a travesty in itself.
  15. He was great...until he played in an actual game.
  16. Does Burke actually think Goltz and Hall are an upgrade on Elliot and Brink? We could be in for a long year.
  17. Just waiting for Buck to get hurt in the first couple of games, but even if he doesn't it seems like we have a very poor team this year. Pre Season or not, the panic button can deservingly be pushed IMO.
  18. It'll be great if he makes the Taxi Squad. I spent a lot of time watching him last game, and i'll say this much - he got open quite a bit.
  19. Ashame the Rifles had to go through last year, but the offense should be great again with those two plus Goodrich and Carter(if he isn't in the pros).
  20. The East honestly looks terrible to me this year. Hamilton/Winnipeg and Montreal get wins based off of the fact they play each other abunch and someone has to win those games. East Standings Toronto: 10-8 Montreal: 9-9 Hamilton: 7-11 Winnipeg: 6-12 West Standings BC: 13-5 Calgary: 11-7 Saskatchewan: 9-9 Edmonton: 7-11 Grey Cup Teams and Winner BC 35 Toronto 24 Most Outstanding Player: Travis Lulay over Ricky Ray Most Outstanding Canadian: Henoc Muamba over Andrew Haaris(homer pick) Most Outstanding Defensive Player: Adam Bighill over Henoc Muamba Most Outstanding Special Teams Player: Chad Owens over Rene Paredes Most Outstanding Rookie: Honestly no clue, all of the big contributors from the Canadian draft aren't in Camp, and picking imports is a crapshoot when we can't even see the pre season games. Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman: Jovan Olafioye over Josh Bourke
  21. He went back to the Rifles? Seems like it was kind of a waste going to the Bisons.
