I do have to say, the most athletic people I know (2 boxers, 1 bodybuilder) are vegan/vegetarian.  It's definitely the people who don't know what they're doing that's the problem.

My neighbour that I mentioned earlier who went organic has also decided gluten free is the way to go. Cutting it out doesn't do very much for you, and can actually be worse for you if you're still eating the same kinds of food but with the gluten removed.

He doesn't have any interest in Rabb.  It is the fact that the Bombers don't want him that Nate has interest in him.    If the Bombers were welcoming him with open arms, then the rhetoric would be about the Bombers old boys club being back in play.  That a business man instead of a civil servent is representing the city.
 
Don't you know that anyone in the Jets or Bombers organizations are either incompetent, vermin, or 2nd rate.  So anything they do is wrong, and anything they don't want to do... they should be doing.   Keep that in mind, and you will understand pretty much all of his posts.

Inevitably the photos they take would make things look much worse w.r.t. how bad the damage was then what the situation really is.
 
Most people simply don't have perspective because any sort of water damage in the property they do know about (their house) is a huge pain and cost. 
 
People might freak out over something that is easily fixed and won't be noticeable come game day and Miller is trying to prevent that - I can assure you he will let media in once things are fixed up enough that no freaking out will occur.

How have the Bombers shown disdain to the media since Miller, Walters et al have been in charge. They've held more press conferences since December than I think Mack had in his entire tenure as GM. They have been more accessible than previous regimes.

I think Kane had injury problems this season so to be fair let's judge his contract after 1 more season. If he pots 15 goals next year then there'll be plenty of discussion. I don't think we trade the guy. He's young & still has lots of potential.

The allegations in his statement of claim are absolutely laughable.

The Lions got $2.7 million from the BC government for the 2014 GC. The Riders got $6 million from the SK government for the 2013 GC. I don't have a problem with the MB government providing $4 million for the 2015 GC. It's a great investment.

We could certainly setup a new forum for Winnipeg Jets / NHL talk.   I don't think it will ever get as busy as HF Boards for Jets talk, but if there is interest, it is relatively easy to setup.

#1 - It would not slow the game down any more than challenges do now  They don't get "extra" challenges now because of this.  You don't have any challenges or timeouts left 
#2 - Difference between holding and PI is that PI can drastically change field position by 40, 50, 60 yards.  Not to mention holding is probably the most obvious call to make. 
 
I agree that PI is called differently game by game, which is why this in particular is such a huge issue.  Maybe this would get help get some consistency?

We wanted to send a reminder out to members of the board to be more aware of what they post on people in the public eye.  This can include players, coaches, members of the media, GMs, etc.   While it is valid, welcome, and encouraged to constructively criticize their work, name calling and derogatory insults are starting to get out of line.   Whenever you post something, consider the impact it would have on that person or that person's family.   You don't appear any smarter by putting someone down to get your point across.   Also, if you don't think a thread has any value, making a post in it to say that the thread is dumb or shouldn't have been made is really not necessary.  If you don't like the thread, don't post, don't read it, and move on.   This kind of nonsense at best discourages people from posting, and participation, at worst it creates a negative vibe to the board.  If a thread really isn't worthwhile, it will either be deleted or it will sink to the bottom of dead threads.  You posting in it, just draws more attention to it.   This site has not been heavily moderated since it opened, mostly because everyone here has been really great with good football discussion, and a great attitude.  We would like to keep it that way, and ask that you help out by taking 10 seconds before you hit the Post button to re-read what you've written, and perform a little self moderation so we don't have to.   We thank you all for your continued contribution and support. The new season is just around the corner, and we are all looking forward to a new and better season of Blue Bomber football!   The Moderation Team
