Unreal start to the weekend at Spirit Of Edmonton... Got to hang out with James West and his wife. Good booze and good tunes. TiCat morons went up and hugged The Cup when it was brought in for pics... BAD KARMA. We got our pic taken but wouldn't dare touch it. 
One other cool thing: You know The Traveling Jagrs? There's a crew of Traveling Glenn's! A bunch of guys who all have Kevin Glenn jerseys from the various teams he played for. So they all got a picture taken together and as they're separating I see...... KEVIN GLENN.... he came to SOE and got his picture taken with the Traveling Glenn's! Too awesome.

though as others have speculated... I would also guess he'll be in Edmonton next year...

I expect Campbell to be Edmonton's next coach. 

This is interesting, and I never really thought about this. The media has made this a story since it happened. Now the local media chooses not to select AH and it's another BIG story. They probably had their articles written and ready to go even before the nomination process, and just waiting for the clicks. Go to any of the local media's websites and you're sure to see how Harris was snubbed. Who was he snubbed by???

Seems like the expectations were that we acquire a QB that doesn’t exist.
We got the best QB we possibly could have at a very tolerable price. Literally no harm done by doing this at all.

With an offence designed the way it is, we will not be able to determine what we have in receivers until LaPo is gone. 

Interesting that our passing production was same with a vet QB.  You don't see any systemic issue?  I don't believe Adams or Arbuckle would do anything in this offense and it's hard to judge Streveler too, obviously has had some spectacular moments but no consistency.

Its 2019. If your offensive coordinator can't figure out how to generate some easy yards and create at least a decent pass game then he isn't very good.
Paul LaPolice isn't very good.

I'm not sure going "all in" on a top receiver is worth it when our offense doesn't really work through receivers. We have lots of good receivers who aren't really being used..

but you can deal with that without simply going on the fire everyone spree, especially as the head coach. 
I mean cripes O'Shea isn't the first and certainly won't be the last coach to be cagey with his public responses to things like that. I do recall one of the mic'ed up games we clearly heard him giving it to one of the coordinators about what they were doing not being good (think it was Lapo) so I don't think that behind closed doors it's all sunshine and roses. 
O'Shea has patience though, he gives people chances to make it right, something a lot of people here don't subscribe to. Now personally I'm sick of our offensive and defensive coordinators, but I was never on board with hiring them in the first place because I didn't like their philosophies to start with. O'Shea though clearly doesn't mind that safe approach, which I can appreciate, I think the real problem is how unable Lapo is to adjust in game and how slow Hall is to adjust, but he does adjust, just sometimes takes too long. 

The problem here, is that angry irrational people don't like measured even keeled responses from coaches. They want the same fly off the handle rage they feel. 

My thoughts...
Hamilton played a MUCH more physical game than us, AGAIN... They won the battles in the trenches all night long. If there was a team I'd want to emulate, it would be them.
Lapo sucks (old news). I hope he gets a head coaching job somewhere else.
I think our O could benefit from giving Augustine some reps in the second half. I love Harris, but I just feel like he fades at the end of the game a bit. Augustine came in for two plays while Harris went off injured, and looked good. He ripped off a 12 yard reception and a 9 yard run. A little bit of Augustine could be a good thing.
Has Lucky done anything since week 2? I'd swap him for Bailey.

Bighill just doesn't look like the same impact player this year. If his name wasn't Bighill I'd be calling for him to be benched. I sure hope he can turn it around.
