Loffler didnt have time to stop and say...oh ok he didn't catch it. He was in the air when Manny tipped the ball away. He was making a football play during the most important game of the year to seperate the ball from the rec. Didn't lead with his head. Even turned away from the hit. Two big guys running like that, there's bound to be an accident here or there. They called Loffler only cause Manny didn't get up. it unfortunate, but you can't penalise guys for accidents. If Loffler had jumped under Manny's chin, then sure that's not good. But he didn't. Manny was Ko'd as a result of playing hard football. Not cause Loffler tried to hurt him.

His play calling can be frustrating at times, but really who do you guys want? People are begging for Milanovich. You really want the guy who just convinced his GM to give up an arm and a leg for our horrible Quarterback?
No OC in the league did more with less than Lapo did this year. We were winning games with Matt Nichols at QB and no talent at receiver aside from Clarence Denmark. Ending up at 11-7 this year, after being handcuffed with Willy followed by our rash of injuries is actually an outstanding accomplishment. 

Being that he was their OC and the penalty was on special teams, I'm not sure what your point is.

And for Regina, the 20 game training camp finally looks over.  It seemed winning games was secondary to finding pieces all year.

I don't know why, but for some reason coaches do not change quarterback during the game, except for injury. No matter how crapola the QB plays, he stays in. (I guess someone can think of the odd exception)
Seems dumb to me, hockey they change goalie, baseball change pitchers frequently, put in designated hitter.... and it used to be done in football, all the time, but no longer.

thought the defence was good second half. two field goals was all they allowed. combined with Bombers having no offence, that's good. 

Not true at all. At this point in the year, you don't make a QB change to win the game. You make to protect your starter. There's zero reason to believe Davis/Glenn would have changed anything. However Nichols was out there taking hits for no reason.

With 9 teams and 18 games there is still no way to do a balanced and fair schedule.  You would play 6 teams twice and two teams 3 times. Someone could play Calgary three times and someone else Montreal three times using this year as an example. 
Plenty of times the two best teams met in the west final.  It's still good football. The Grey Cup is about more than just football, it's a national event.  If we lose that it is just another football game.

We'd never have got there with Willy starting. The Willy backers here can argue otherwise but no way. Nichols doesn't put up stunning numbers like Reilly or BLM but he's steady, efficient, understands LaPo's offense, makes quicker reads & has a quick release thereby avoiding being sacked. Willy holds onto the ball too long trying to make decisions where to throw & panics when the pocket collapses. We saw that all game long today.

Not so much a trick play, but I laughed when back in the day Westwood kicked a ball at a defender. The ball bounced off the player and Westwood recovered it.

Knee touched ball came out right call. Called immediately on the field and confirmed by command centre. I don't care what twatter-verse has to say. IMHO they got away with several holds, two PIs, etc so boohoo. 

So, in the twitter universe everyone is saying the Lions got screwed & that the ball was out. My response to that is **** the twitter universe. I think the whistle blew before the ball did come out. But the Bombers have been screwed over so many times by the officials that cost us games in the past even if it was a fumble, I don't care as it was about bloody time a call went our way.
