I could get behind what your saying except I wasn't suggesting we chuck him. I think at some point we will all just have to agree to disagree. I personally feel like if it were the Grey cup tomorrow I would feel anxious about Legs being the guy.

Again, sure... but there's track records involved in both your guys thoughts. I don't think anybody is shouting at the rafters to cut legs. There is a reason we brought in another guy last year. I personally don't think that's the case this season. Mostly because "larry" will possibly find another NFL club and would command more money then we could shell out. To Liegghios credit aside from the Montreal mishaps, and "mishap" being a gentle way of putting it. He's done a good job in all three phases of his game I think the better question is why wouldn't we want the guy who's hung around the NFL, kicked for the cowboys, and had success at the CFL game too. Has legs kicked a 50 + yarder once this year? How about over the course of his career? I'm not being condescending I'm actually curious. I suppose it's possible I'm being a "fanatic" here but I'd prefer a sample size of more than 10 games to fully trust our kicker. I'll reiterate myself here. In a perfect world, one which the price was right and he wanted to come to winnipeg. Why wouldn't we want him? Since when did competition at any position become a problem

Eh he's played reasonably well against us. Maier has shown he can play in this league but I guess we'll see when the pressures on against the Bombers

Really? I thought the broadcasting was garbage. Strevlers first and 2nd possession they are yammering on to players whove made the roster. That's fine. Then they kept wanting to call him " the qb " . Then they could have mentioned when talking about Alford and strev at the same time where they came from previously ( maybe I'm being a homer here ) Then when talking about cut-down they mention the xfl and usfl but no cfl. "Cmon man". These guys came from the CFL Anyway, another good night from strev. I thought his interception was really close to a completion and had it not been pissing rain it probably would have been. Hope he makes the roster Good for Alford. But damn wish these Americans would atleast recognize the cfl exists

To be honest, I was really high on Walker. I even rated him a top 5 receiver last year after he had already had a disappointing season with the elks. It seems as though he is disinterested and just collecting a cheque right now. I'd take a flyer on him but he's likely making too much coin. Another thing to note is you don't want to **** with the chemistry of a locker room if it's not necessary. Bombers receivers haven't seemed to have many struggles this year and the plug and play system has worked out okay. Until their is an obvious hole to fill I'd stay par for the course..

Man that is shifty news. As much as I love the Bombers it was good seeing some parity in the league. Not saying that can't be the case still, but Rourke was a game changer for the league. Kid was putting up otherwordly numbers and I would have liked to see the finish. Still. He is a young man and hopefully this is just a speed bump

I'm pretty sure a poster above put it best. Something in regards that the whole thing left a bad taste in everyone's mouths, but who are we kidding down the line none of that will matter. Dudes a legend. A major part of carrying the Bombers back to relevancy and 1000% will end up in the rafters. I'm not even a huge fan of the guy "personally" but what he did for the organization and city of Winnipeg can't be denied. Bummed out his career has likely come to a close because of this. I think he could play as a change of pace, situation, ratio changer etc etc type player

Dudes job is hit kicks. Especially 35 and 37 yard kicks. There were a number of reasons for the loss but, I suppose if you are ignorant and can't see what's blatantly in front of you, then you would applaude his efforts. Kid can't kick in big moments. It happened last year too. The oline, some poor play calling, and a bad call by the ref contributed too. We litterly watched him shank it and lose the game. There's blame on him. Ehhhh. I guess. They don't let him kick over 45 really and pretty sure he's missed a couple xp. I would agree hes shown improvement and the punting has been good. Seems he collapses the minute theirs pressure on him. I wouldn't feel comfortable kicking in the playoffs

You know, another thing I love about osh and company ( and by extension the players ) is that when asked about the schedule they say its " perfect " and they love it. Totally off topic but I feel the need to share this because I've been drinking heavily. For those of you who don't know me, I've been a die hard bomber fan since I was 10 years old. My family used to sell mini donuts at canads. At 13 I was posting on ourbombers pretending to know wtf I was talking about lol In grade school and into high-school my friends ****** with me all the time and cheered against the bombers just to see me get pissed off. I'm 29 now. My friends are die hards of the leafs and oilers. I told them today; **** you, the bombers are nearly a dynasty and I hope the leafs and oilers don't win a cup until the year after they die. It was awesome.I meant it. Go bombers Oh and the riders are ******. That makes me happy too
