  1. I'm not disagreeing, it was a penalty, but the push-off wasn't noticed, kinda like the retaliation penalty in hockey getting called and not the first shot.
  2. It was no phantom call, that's true, JJ grabbed Bruce's arm, you know, the one Bruce was pushing off with.
  3. Can't we switch and play one of these defences next? Seriously.
  4. Those defences can make our offence look decent. Hopefully
  5. So when Picard would give his approval for an order by saying "make it so".....you would hear " make it iso"?
  6. Toolbar for posting

  7. Why KBF, I'm shocked you'd think I fool around like that when somebody's safety is at stake.
  8. Good, cause saying we'll Venable it up, doesn't sound as good.
  9. With that depth chart in a mess, it seems that it's Venable starting. Will have to wait 'til the morrow to see for sure.
  10. It's one of the CFL's depth-defying rule-skirting features. And yet somehow they'll get paid.
  11. Good to see someone can look at the blight side of things.
  12. Ahh, just like getting a soother, right?
  13. As to bringing in players, where does it say all the players we bring in have to be all-stars, and who's to know if some of them won't be?
  14. I believe we have a pretty decent roster overall and last night's game was used to evaluate who the missing pieces are. That is all I really care about from that game.
  15. Actually, I like the fact Buck isn't playing. At the very least, it gives us part of what we wanted (backups getting playing time) even though it's not under ideal conditions.
  16. I agree. Never before have I seen "all in" in an exhibition football game. It's both scary and intriguing. Burke's decision making has been questioned in the past. Is this another example? But it's not like we haven't seen 52-0 before...
  17. I don't believe I have ever seen a coach committing to so many rookies and leaving so many rookies behind. It's either bold or crazy or both. Inspired by this, I've taken the unusual position of assigning a rookie radio listener to listen to the play by play. I'm looking forward to his assessment.
  18. Lumsden's scale is harder to figure out as it keeps bobbing up and down.
  19. No, by my ciphering, regarding Nichols, it's a 20 to one ratio to Buck.
  20. Burke just stated on CTV news that there was a noticeable decline in his training camp performance and that, with his drop in performance last year, led to this decision. So clearly, he was given another chance to step up..and he didn't.
  21. And that's the difference right there. Some fans were only supporting young Etienne, not hovering over him waiting for him to fail.
