  1. So, how do you think Montreal's going to do this year Smokin? Or don't you have access..to that information?
  2. Let's face it. Buck's QB qualities do not include quick releases and standing firm in the pocket. He needs to move around and run, but he is no longer capable/able to perform like Buck of old. Can this ploy of Crowton/Burke work? I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does.
  3. Releasing a veteran in the secondary is a bold move for a team that's unsure of it's identity and coming off a poor performance. We've really got to hope that somebody knows what they're doing. Gulp!
  4. And there it is. This is exactly what we need. Enough time out of Pierce so as someone, anyone, has the time to step up. It really is about the next one stepping up, right soon.
  5. Let's remember....1st time ever trying out this facility for football. It will improve...a lot.
  6. An hour to an hour and a half. People will find their groove zone. You have to remember....this was the worst case scenario...in real time. A trial run, with the jurors still out for lunch.
  7. I can see tight standings this year but, Tor. Wpg.- Mont Ham BC Cal Sask Edm.
  8. I prefer to call it.....Access denied.
  9. Personally, I love to hear doctors talking shop.
  10. PaulWiecek For the uninitiated, the 6 grams that Hefney got caught with would be worth about 50 bucks and would be a night's work for some guys. 33 seconds ago · reply · retweet · favorite
  11. Let's get serious. Personal pot use doesn't really amount to much these days. Not a big deal. But add on the silence and the mercury rises. Hefney's history? Another rise. He's on shaky ground.
  12. 1st one on the field, Justin P trying FGs. Looked good 45 and in, but came short beyond that. The trend continues. The punters were next, except Renaud to start. 78 & 79 out kicked Cameron on this day. Renaud came out later and all the punters took turns looking good or bad, depending. Directional punting was a challenge, both sides of the field. No determined winner there. Overall, my take...Pav, in a close one. Renaud will start....Pav and Cameron will be kept around. Hutchinson is worth working on, but I doubt we have the room. Next, a general comment on the overall practise routine....way better than last year's routine, IMO. There were very few times you can see players being inactive ie. standing around. They had everybody moving around (running) from one area to another and the players knew what was expected of them. Different than last year. Kudos to the coaching staff for the organization of the workouts. Actually, the coaches can be lauded for coaching, then explaining to individuals if necessary, what is wanted. The atmosphere surrounding the practices is better, louder (from the players) and more intense. Good to see. Especially liked the two passers, two receivers drill where 2 centres hike the ball at the same time and 2QBs alternate throwing to different receivers (while rotating all the QBs in and out) They practiced breaking the huddle for punts and moved quickly with purpose. Good to see. As to the QBs... Not enough visibility to comment, so I'll leave it at that. Noticed: Parker, Ford, Simpson, Pav, Poblah, (size similarity Etienne and Adams) and for the first viewing....OMG, the stadium.....fantastic.
  13. Gary would agree with you, especially on the amount.
  14. BLUE BOMBERS 2013 TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE SUNDAY, JUNE 9 10:15am - 1:03pm
  15. It would be way better with just a small sponsored ad. The way it is, is just grotesque. It's not supposed to be about the sponsor.
