QB tucked his head, nothing Lawson could do. Either way, they’ll never overturn that

I think they are at a level of nascent authoritarianism not seen before.
These democracy hating nazi  racists are very determined.  They just keep pushing. They were close to succeeding.   Mike Pence?
There is nothing they won’t do. Think Rittenhouse.
and people with  money, and skills,  are helping them.  They have Backing from the highest levels. Sympathizers, and members in All branches of government. Wall Street, churches, police, armed forces.
    add on Russia, China.fomenting hate.
If MConnell had impeached  Trump, maybe it would have gone from boil to simmer. But he did not.
so the rabble rouser is stirring it daily.

that’s why Trudeau government is smart to prepare for the worst from America.

Just another example of a failing, collapsing state. How far they fall and what comes out the other end, who knows. Scary s**t.

Politics have really gone in the shitter in the United States, your state goes thru a terrible week with devastating weather and you refuse to meet with the POTUS because of optics

Not sure….. it will be explained over the next few days. But they will figure out a way to prevent any regulation, state or federal.
also... wetlands do not conform to boundaries. so it makes no sense to have them regulated by states. basically not possible.
it is on record, In their speeches, decisions, and opinions, that these hard right creeps are opposed to any kind of regulation of corporate activity.  Koch brothers love them probably.
last June “(Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on Thursday to block the Environmental Protection Agencyfrom regulating greenhouse gas emissions is likely to put a big chill on rulemaking by other federal agencies.”
Did McConnell ever feel any kind of sympathy that we are aware of? With his  power, has he helped a single person?
Low life of the first rank.
I have zero sympathy for him.

Knowing your team only has a small chance of victory, and expecting them to lose are two different things as well. Even in the darkest days of Bomber football I never, ever went to any game thinking we can't win. I knew odds were stacked against us, but if I truly thought we had no chance of victory I wouldn't have gone. Some of my most cherished games I ever attended were when we were terrible but somehow got it together for a game and knocked off a league leading team. The odd game like that is all a football fan has in dark times. Think Regina last week. They were absolutely euphoric after they unexpectedly beat BC. It will probably be their highlight of the season.

I picked it up in Gimli while I was at the film festival. I can't remember the name of the store. They called it a " General Store " but it was more of a touristy thing. A good selection of local / prairie books though.

Speaking about traveling the Assiniboine I recently picked up"  Boats and Life on Manitoba Waterways " by Ben W. Holyk.
There are some fascinating pictures of the various watercraft that have worked our lakes and rivers. Including a couple with Fort Garry in the background. It's hard to imagine steamboats on the Red and Assiniboine rivers loaded with hundreds of people and cargo.

100% on that. When my wife and I turned 50 we decided to canoe from Brandon to the Forks. We took our time and did it in 12 days. From Brandon to Portage ( especially Brandon to 34 hwy) is amazing. You would  ever guess you were paddling in Southern MB farming country. On the entire  trip we only met one other group. Brandon to 34 is an absolute gem hidden under everyone's nose. Portage to the perimeter - meh. Perimeter to the forks  - entertaining.
