This D has been improving every week. They simply dominated tonight . I'm impressed to see what a competent backup could accomplish with limited reps.Good job by Walters to go out and get solution to a problem.

So Bhrom has only skipped 1 off the turf, and hasn't been horrendous. Does that qualify as a success?

Once the call was made and it could have gone either way, there wasn't enough on the replay to overturn.

Arm strength is one thing but he isn't even able to be accurate on mid and even short throws.I claim no expertise in football but when Milt, Troy, Matt D ect... are saying he just doesn't have it I believe them.

Great thread guys!

68 is slowly sinking into obscurity. I always feel it is one long ad interspersed with bits of info. While I'd be suprised if this rumor was true I'd enjoy the switch.

We got a few big plays of our own too. Adams pick 6. Punt block TD and a couple throws to Denmark. Game closer than it appears because of the Montreal td where the ball didn't cross the line.
Wasn't that an awful review!

Yup, no tail tucking from my point of view.Just a real hard fought game, with give and take on both sides. In the end we did what we had to do. Yes gave up big plays but got down right stingy when we had to. All in all a good win.

@CFL: BREAKING: The @TorontoArgos have placed QB Ricky Ray on the 6-game injured list. #CFL #CFLTC
Between that and their schedule the Argos could be heading for a rough start.

Thanks to all who are reporting. It is much appreciated.

Geat news! Other than the disappointing preseason this year TSNs coverage is pretty good.(Rod Black does not exist in my world).

Because they're f***ing good.....I don't listen to Wpg radio, obviously, but I know they're the best station in the city for a reason (tho CBC just beat 'em in the ratings for the first time in forever...)
There's a reason they're able to play so many commercials.......massive listenership.Setting Bob Irving aside as he is one of the best has anyone else found CJOBs broadcast getting tired. The fact they don't send an entire crew toroad games just smacks of penny pinching.I enjoy Doug Browns articles but he seems to try to hard on air . I've found myself doing the 1290 pregame but wishing Irving was there.Am I alone?
I'd agree with this. On the post game show, after the coach's interview, I will move to TSN1290. And don't get me started on the number of commercials they play.
If you are talking cjob their ratings are on a steady decline as I understand it.I just know my own opinion and it seems Bob spends large parts of the show trying to hold it togeather.Seems like a shame to me that he has to do it.
Yeah I don't understand how they get the ratings to do.

Disappointing.

Lots of changes so I'm thinking we could start off a little slow.Probably the opposite of last year . We'll gel soon enough to make the playoffs.

oh blech. I don't want to see this board get dragged into which sport is better or more popular. Soccer is popular all over the world because all you need is a ball and a field and away soccero. So anyone can play it, unlike hockey, football, ice dancing, you name it. The point some of us were trying to make here is that the Bombers got caught with their pants down yet again, on an issue they had plenty of advance notice about.
ya I got your point and I understand.I agree more advanced notice would be good.Do you get my point? Just because an event isn't your thing, why drag it down? This is a huge event for Winnipeg . I'm not comparing sports.I prefer hockey, CFL, NFL, and then soccer.

More people play socer than hockey.Every single day will out draw training camp. It is one year . Can't you support something other than the thing you are interested in.My arguement has been used by many football fans when we look for support for theBB or the stadium.Yes, an event so coveted no other country bid to host it.
Soccer may be the most popular sport in the world but not in Canada.
-
I don't know how many of the anti-socer people watched the last Olympics but the Canadian women were phenomenal. They play a very tough, physical brand and did this country proud . It's training camp , and the up to 3000 people will have to give way to a packed, world event taking place in our city.Socer is the most popular sport in the world and in Canada. Set aside your aversions to a sport you just don't understand or is not your cup of tea and support the fact that Winnipeg scooped this major event.

Sooner or later a canuck will start . It's bound to happen one day.Could it be Yantz, you never know but at least the Bombers have given him that shot, albiet a long one.I didn't know about the punting bit.Interesting info.

Huge catch by Matthews!

Merry christmas all.A special thanks to anyone involved with Hydro who worked hard to restore our power in time for Christmas. After three days we were ready to step back into the 21st century.

Mike O'Shea is present.
I wonder who is present at the interviews?Per Lawless the Bombers have spoken to Benevedes already. They have also asked the Riders for permission to speak to Hall.
Is that it?
