  1. Wow and it only took them a month and a half to do it.  Things still moving at the speed of light in Winnipeg.

Cause it matters so much considering it's ******* december.....smh

Just goes to show the rampant dysfunction that still exists in the Bomber front office.  Power struggle for a month and a half over firing a coordinator.

Or it shows a management team that has sat down and made a joint decision allowing time for contemplation, discussion and decision. View it as you will.
  2. Nothing will change in the off season. No coach will leave. No coordinator will be fired. The core will probably stay the same. We will be told that it will take years to rebuild the OL. It will be an off seasons of excuses. We will be told that all we need to do is execute & play better. You can see it coming.

I hope and believe you are wrong. Then again I thought Khan would outwit Kirk this time.

  3. Haha - I guess that's deserved - gotta start somewhere though.  Actually I used to post a lot at Ourbombers (Buzz4QB) - but got tired of trolls and negatrons so stepped away for a while.  This site seems a lot more like Ourbombers used to be originally... I'm usually content to just lurk but I'm a Miller fan and don't really want to see people start making this into a WWE 'heel vs. hero' match.  Guess I'll go back to lurk mode!

Don't take the comments so seriously fellow lurker. There is a bit of a wolf /coyote mentality around here and they love to pounce. I happen to agree 100% with your post and no, I'm not Wades Dad!
  4. I think this could be a really good show.I listen to Troy every morning at work and think he's alright, Walby most agree was one of CBC 's better ones and I've thought Bauming has been one of the better reporters on the Bomber beat.CJOB's show has got really old, tired and cheap.Slightly off topic, a big thanks to all who have been giving training camp reports. It is much appreciated.

  5. Very happy with the signings we made so far today, but of course would love to see an OL added still.

    Good start!

I think, more than anything, it's knowing that we are active players in FA that is heartening to see.  A couple of solid, not spectacular, FA pick ups .. the additions of Banks and Randle .. we're relevant and engaged at a time where we've been notably absent the last few years ..

    It's night and day.
  6. When Marshall goes somewhere, he usually seems to be able to fix a broken defense temporarily. But...not too hard for opposing offences to figure out what schemes he is running, so if a team makes the playoffs...his defensive schemes usually suffer.

He is the last D coordinator I would want back.

The only salvation might be that O'Shea has his own ideas of how he wants the D run and Marshall would have to comply.

So what happens when an OC with a lay back style of defence works for an aggressive Head Coach?I am kind of thinking that would be a good part of the discussion in the interviews. We don't have a wishy , washy coach any more.I like the fact they are taking the time to find the right mix.

  7. Nah, what I get outta that article is that Barker's screwed. I think Collaros, his agent, and Walters are all working together and trying to save the Bombers from trading too much to get him. He knows he's going to Winnipeg, so he's trying to maximize the deal for them. If he doesn't sign with the Argos, then the Bombers get him for next-to-nothing.

This is a done deal, IMO...

    Noeller for president!
  8. Well, the defence has come to play- Henoc Muamba just might win this all by himself.

According to Bob on the pregame we are really close to resigning him.It would be a real feather in Walters cap. He's a beut.

Its probably going to come down to dollars and a committment by the Bombers to make the team a contender in short order. Muamba is a great player but playing on a constantly losing team has to wear down a players' enthusiasm.
True be that.We need to hit a home run on CEO, GM, Head coach and QB. A tall order.
