I refer to Nats and Amerks on the roster ahead of guys due to loyalties....personal likes.....rewards.....and it played a hand in the last 2 cup losses....Jackson use...and by default hamstringing the dline...Hurt guys playing at expense of healthy ones..Biggie...Bailey..Demski..Schoen....Going for hollow stats and hype (Houston) over Rose...ZC playing in previous Cup when it was clear after 1 quarter he was limited....multiple guys dressed who never stepped over the sideline....let alone needed to even bring their helmet
First eye test this yr looks like maybe we finally learned from past failure, because in all honesty we should be gong after our 5th straight cup win in a row....and what better thing to rag on the dickweeds out west about than to say we have won more cups than them in the last 5 yreas than thay have in total in over 100 yrs...plus we have 12 others in our pocket lol

I think it’s all made grey by the fact that the last two gc losses were soo close that any single change of an under performing factor likely turns a loss into a win. If biggie played at a peak modp level for instance I think we win. But I don’t particularly blame biggie for the losses. 

Losing Bailey is probably going to hurt the most. Just a true heart and soul guy who plays with such a physicality that will be hard to match by any of the new receivers. If we had enough promotion money to get close to what he is worth I'm sure we would have done it. 

It’s possible. I gauged my comment on Walter’s saying he couldn’t see a way to fit grant in with the cap but it could be pure injuries or youth. I suspect JJ and yoshi were moved on from for youth. 
 If that was the case with all our FAs, and we had the ability to spend all the moneys I think we would’ve dipped into veteran free agency a good bit still. 
 
I think all those vets were some balance of this. With grant and JJ being the most about injury time, yoshi and houston about performance and cost. 
Certainly true. He tried free agency twice expecting more and settling for less than he wanted here. It was pretty public. I think part of it is just the market for a kr in the cfl right now. No one is paying top dollar to guys like that unless they can translate it to offence or D. 

That’s soo odd right after the team and Kelly denied any wrong doing. You know that’s why they marched good ole pinball out to deliver the message. 
 
This only pushes home that the league needs to come down swiftly and harshly on the Argo’s brass. 

Nah, he's been trying to turn this on the woman from day one.  Has nothing to with Kelly being suspended so I'm not inclined to cut him some slack.  Had he taken more of a wait and see attitude, I might buy the "in shock" excuse but he's been this way since the allegations first came out.

Cut him some slack, he just lost his franchise MOP QB. He's an Argo fanatic and is clearly in denial. He is extending way too much benefit of the doubt to a player known to have big behavioral problems, but he is also viewing it through the lens of a fan. He will come around once the shock and awe wears off and he realizes this was a fair and just punishment. The CFL could not let it's reigning MOP act like a total creep and embarrass the league with a weak response to it.

Again, with the league handing down this large of suspension there 100% needs to be lots of evidence against Kelly. Just because you're not privy to it doesn't mean there's nothing there. It's a ridiculous claim to suggest the league is just handing suspensions out on rumours especially after an independent investigation.

so....after a lengthy independant investigation....subsequant suspension handed down, and now Pinball saying that the Team does not deny/dispute the allegations in his presser....safe to say Kelly was lying now...the trainer was not, and justified, and as per Pinballs own comments the team itself has lots of work to do, and needs to look within itself to make sure this never occurs again.....so safe to say the he says...she says narrative was debunked?....and its actually 100 percent accurate now

If history has taught us anything, it is that Kelly learns from his past indiscretions. (I hope the dripping sarcasm came through..)

The questions you should be asking are, what opportunities can come to her if she stays in the industry? What opportunities can come to her if she stays with that organization? How many opportunities does she have to do that job in a profession where there are less than 50 (I'm not sure what the UFL is like for that specific job so I gave them the benefit of doubt) pro football teams in NA? How might another year of experience help her career? I would suggest that her wanting to stay despite the low pay and harassment shows this may very well be a dream job for her. 
For the record, one of my dream jobs pays less than 35k a year. I'm no longer working in it for various reasons, but if I could i absolutely would. Suggesting $$ is one of the only factors is short sighted.

so just to be clear... your stance on this specific part of the scenario is.... if someone was harassed at work, that person should be to the one to leave and give up on their dreams... with no onus on the organization to create a harassment-free work place.... if that is not what you believe, it doesn't show in your posts.    

Review the posts on the “he said - she said” theories and how the complainant was “weird”. 

This is completely unrelated to the point I was making... Bluto is very confused why she would want to continue working for the Argos despite being harassed at work... suggesting the onus is on the employee to leave rather than the organization to rectify the issue

Milt Stegall looks pretty good

Brand new turf, brand new team, brand new game for a lot of these guys, I would assume the coaching staff isn’t asking them to go 0 to 100 and risk injury on day one. 
 
We know our staff looks at so much more than their on-field stuff, these guys are going to make an impression or get a chance to for sure, but I doubt it’s balls to the wall right out of the gate.

Wish we could see what milt could do in a scrimmage

Not sure what else you’re going to expect from rookie camp day one, I would assume it’s mostly conditioning drills and very half effort reps
