They rarely will do that,more likely to jump out of the way. For this incident he looked to be parked and they were going to smash the window and drag him out. They end up shooting him which leads me to believe is that he grabbed for a gun. I've heard anything from a pellet gun to a an assault rifle. It definitely looked like a five police star gta chase.

They did not shoot him while he was driving. Police are not trained to do this as it's very dangerous.

I already have a thread about this incident I was there when it happened. No idea if he had a gun but he definitely was a psycho driving around and had tonnes of chances to safely surrender. I've heard a lot of behind the scenes rumours which I can't share but I can definitely confirm he was not a good guy as his friends said in the paper. The public and his ex are very lucky that they did not get hurt by him.

I think the fan base after years of crap just don't give two shits about the club regardless if they clean house or not. I think the general attitude is that most folks just have zero interest at all with the club. Just look on these board..the regulars barely posted in the game threads and just have no real hope at all. To many years of hoping to turn things around and getting excited over nothing. The last time I was excited to watch this team is like year one of Lapolice... It's been so long that we rotated in a tonne of people only to come back to Lapo lol.

I don't consider him a failure, as a fan I think the guy is a major prick. He's done a good but not great job in his role. He hasn't elevated the game all that much in the States and he's definitely alienated the fans in Canada big time. As a fan he's diluted the product and I'd give him maybe a D.... if I were an owner I'd of course give him glowing praises and a solid B+

I'm not advocating rushing into a gun fight with a phone, but don't belittle the issue with the RCMP either. There's a problem and it will only be dealt with because people are videoing them. Well considering police/RCMP go to 1000s of calls every day and 99.99% of them don't end up with police brutality yes it is once in a blue moon. Just because off incidents happen it doesn't mean it's regular occurrence. Very ignorant and naive to believe otherwise. When a suspect is waving a gun it is absolutely moronic to run in close and video it just to be moral police.
