Do we have to always bring Rider DC re-treads as our DC??? Wouldn't that be 3 in a row?

All I know is that at the old stadium I would park at Polo Park, it would take about 5 minutes to walk to the car... 10 minutes to get out of the lot and about 25 minutes to get home. Current stadium it takes about 10 minutes to get to the line of the bus, anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to board a bus and get out of the campus area... 30 minutes to get to park and ride destination... then 15 minutes to get home. All while sitting on a very uncomfortable school bus cramped to all hell. For myself I could walk far away and park at a distance... though usually I'm with my dad who is 70 with bad knees so it's really not an option for him. It's just a poor choice of placing the stadium, they should of had it more centralized (for us North City Folk) and choose a location that has way more exit points. This would of helped increase ticket sales for the old timers who don't want to waste 2 - 3 hours in transport time just to go see a Bomber game.

It definitely was easier to get out of Polo Park. You can't debate that. The Ottawa hockey arena is quite a bit out of town. It would be the same if the Jets played out of Oakbank..

As a casual fan with no deep knowledge of coaching hockey .. My main concern is that he has coached a for a long time with different teams and seems to consistently achieve only slightly above average results.

Why are you not a fan of Paul Maurice? For myself I see a lot of similarities between him and O'Shea and how they handle the media , players , roster management etc....

The league sure is lucky that Ottawa made it into the cup.... if they drop the prices to something reasonable then they can get a whole bunch of Redblack fans to drive down for the day.

I thought that I had read that the city is bringing in 10 000 refugees from Africa every year which wouldn't bring much money and I am to assume that they have no interest in the CFL. Just doing the old eye check from going around town I assume the population growth is mostly folks from Philippines, India and Africa. And based on my experiences of going to the games.... they don't seem to like going to the CFL games. Now if we immigrated a bunch of folks from Russia and change the Rum hut to a Vodka hut... I would think they would see a massive increase in ticket sales

The constant losing over the years easily has destroyed the confidence of many fair weather to even good fans. Heck even Mike was complaining early this season about never going to see the Blue play again and I would assume that he would be one of the most die hard fans.

It's a good thing you are the secret gm of the Jets? Chevy said they wanted him to round out his game and that him playing 15 minutes in the A is more productive then playing fourth line minutes.

Chevy said that was exactly the reason he was sent to the A. Same reason why the Jets didn't bring scheif up after he was drafted

I think any vet would call someone they know on the team and then after hearing about how much respect the coach has and how professional the environment is they will sign immediately.

I'm a little bit behind on watching movies ... I finally watched X-Men Apocalypse and had to say this review is way to harsh on the movie. While I didn't like it as much as DOFP it still was much better then The Last Stand and most other comic book movies. The only actor/actress who phoned it in was Jennifer Lawrence and the only gripes I had was that the movie ran a bit long and they could of cut out some of the extra characters that cluttered the movie.

Who said that? On TSN and in the local media they said that he was keeping in shape and skating with a local team and was making sure he would be ready to go if a deal was signed. The only rumours they had I thought were of 2 years ago when he didn't want to go do the Gary Roberts workout thing.

Now if they could bump the season up a month and have this fan fare right before the season starts would make more sense to me.

But isn't Westerman , Shologan and Cummings considered an elite D-line?

I wonder if we see Durant in Toronto next season and Willy or Ray in Saskatchewan?
