Comparing a QB and a receiver is apples and oranges. Ricky Collins couldn't crack the Ti-Cats who have crap for receivers... Why bother wasting time on the guy. I'd much rather they bring in guys like Givens who may be able to be elite talent in the league.

The guy barely had a 5 yard average... it would be the same if we put Fred Reid in our hall of fame? Except Fred Reid actually dominated for a few seasons unlike Cates. This Calgary team is beatable if you get any sort of pressure on BLM. He isn't playing hurt... he's playing sloppy/scared. Several times he had easily an extra second or two in the pocket... yet he panicked and tossed the ball way to early. It's unfortunate that against us and our so very soft zone defense he will still eat us alive.

I also went to a place I think called Roxie's on the Red in Selkirk... you wouldn't think much of the place driving by. The food though is fantastic with massive portions and a wide variety. The jalapeno pulled pork sandwich is my go to dish when I visit.

My memories of IHOP in the States is literally a minor step up from Denny's. Nothing special at all. Local restaurants.... Phuong Nam is always great. I tried BMC Taqueria on Henderson last week and it was really tasty and cheap to boot.

Based on what was reported... Givens looks like a guy that can replace Dressler (fast guy who can burn people deep).

The transition from kickboxing to MMA is a huge transition... as they alluded on the broadcast... grappling and the amount of energy that it drains is massively different then clinching in boxing/kickboxing. He would have to have several years of dedicated MMA training and lots of fights against cans to build him up to be a true contender. I say they cherry pick his fight against pure strikers and have exciting Melvin manhoef type fights
