  1. Lots of fumbles and a brain dead move by Davis made the game closer then it was. I wouldn't be to worried about our offense since Ottawa looked really soft out there.... it'll come down to pressuring Harris and not allowing him to toss a million mid range passes like he did against the Als...
  2. I was reading Riderfans yesterday and this morning and they seemed very sour on both Carter and Jones. The vast majority are not happy and only a few are defending Jones and/or Carter at this point. Also I read that Carter was put on the trade block a week ago and nobody bit. I'd imagine Toronto might offer him the most... I really don't see why Hamilton would even bother since they have more then enough talent at receiver. BC is a bit of a surprise... are they going to drop Arceneaux or something?
  3. If they retain Jones after the season...how in the hell does any free agent player sign in Saskatchewan?
  4. Clearly it was suppose to say punter and punt. I think the 4th quarter punt with the penalty only moved the ball up 11 yards. I think this game really works well with Ottawa just barely beating Montreal... if our defense comes out to play then we should be able to win the game.
  5. Not a huge loss considering he whiffed on a few tackles today... My guess... they trade Roosevelt to us in exchange for Flanders and they will then run an offense with no receivers and all rbs!
  6. God damn fuzzy sock sucker autocorrect!!
  7. Probably me using common sense and then forgetting Kavis Reed runs the show...
  8. Would Montreal want him back? They need o line help more then anything else.
  9. Montreal defense is exhausted. Also they need a printer...that print earlier in the fourth really hurt them.
  10. Ottawa is actually sending pressure now instead of only rushing three... Khari has not adjusted and it's been five two and outs in a row .
  11. Who? Toronto is the only team I can think who would?
  12. I can't think of any team that would want Carter and his baggage.
  13. I'd much rather we get Roosevelt...
  14. If they were to dump Carter for Owens then wow ....terrible
  15. Also Bowman seems to be done...
  16. Dominique Davis easily could of ran in that 3rd down gamble. Harris always seems to have a high completion % and tonnes of yards but no TDs... Manziel looks much better ..his o line has gave him time. His receivers dropped three deep throws ... Thorpes defense looks mehhhhhhhhhh... If they play the same defense against us I think our running and short throw game will kill them.
  17. As soon as the competition cost the WWE some money they will offer ridiculous contracts to squish them. Kenny or Lenny as you call him will get paid a whole lot!
  18. What the hell is going on in Saskatchewan...complete gong show.
  19. In my life time ... I've had far more friends/family say they don't wanna sit out in the freezing cold then them saying "I don't want to go because it's June and I want to sit at the beach" .....
  20. https://www.the-numbers.com/person/530401-Jim-Carrey#tab=acting Yikes he hasn't really had a hit in forever.... Sooner or later he'll turn into Bruce Willis and take any pay day and have everything to direct to video
  21. Might end up more banged up then Dunigan when all is done...
  22. I noticed much more blitzes tonight compared to the last Hamilton game.... it was refreshing.
  23. I thought Masoli made some good plays but also had help in the 1st quarter with some horse shoes up his ass and some nice plays by Banks. He made at least 2 - 3 wild throws that we would of freaked out if Matt made those same plays. He definitely does not handle pressure well.... he tossed up a few blind balls that could of easily been pick 6's had our guy been a bit closer to the ball.
  24. New York is a great example of how having green space and times square doesn't equate to a bustling lively downtown. I recommend you read about New York in the 80's and the insane crime rate and how they had to re-do the police force and go extremely tough on crime to clean it up to make it what it is today! Maybe Mayor Bowman can learn from history! Not that we have nearly the same kind of crime but it wasn't vanity projects that made New York and the Bronx rich bustling places... I've had family visit different parts of England last year and what's crazy is that parts that used to be nice are now dangerous and no longer safe for tourist to visit. It's bizarre because they have open walkways with no barricades, beautiful architecture , lots of shops , rapid transit etc.... Unfortunately the bad folks don't seem to really care and decide to throw stones at women with exposed faces, yell at people based on their skin color and pretty much drive out anyone that is different. Like in Winnipeg it's not always the setting of the place... it's the clientèle who populate it that determine if the place will thrive. I've had other family visit Greece , Spain, Portugal, France, Italy... all places that had highly dense areas with no green areas at the hearts of their downtowns that required people to walk really far... yet they had no problems filling up their cafes and patios. For myself I recently went to Quebec City for the first time and walked around Old Quebec which during the day was jam packed full of tourists. What was crazy is that it's so tight and has such limited parking that I was forced to walk many blocks just to park a vehicle and to get to where we wanted to go. It was super crazy because since it's on a hill and it's really old so they had pretty much zero devices or rampways for handicap folks. A person in a non motorized wheel chair would either need to have strong arms or would need to take a taxi or get someone to push them.... the nerve of Quebec City for not re doing it to help the elderly and handicap. It is far easier to navigate winnipeg P and M physically then Old Quebec. What was realllly crazy was that I went downtown during the day and night and late night at least 10 different times and not once did I see anyone being harassed for money, no sketchy drugged out people, and definitely no gross overly intoxicated aggressive people. So it's bizarre that a place with no green space, minimal parking, very inconvenient for handicap people to get around, very concrete jungle like.... was thriving. It's almost like the reason it was busy was because it was safe and clean. But I guess the issue is that I like using real world examples to base my opinions while others tend to like to follow theory and dreams based on manipulated numbers by people who have agendas...
  25. I just didn't understand why they didn't keep going short passes when clearly Matt could not hit **** all tonight? Also why we not running a series or two with Streveler when Matt is clearly struggling?
