It's not pissed soaked or dangerous at all... if anything I find the area to be way more safer then Portage Place. Don't make up lies. All along Portage Ave outside from Main to U of W is piss soaked (I know from my buddy being a security guard and many times having to ask the locals to not piss or masturbate in bus shacks) and up and down the other streets at night is very sketchy. When my wife was a bartender downtown it was almost like a real life night of the living dead with gross people passed out and pissing all around the alleys and garbage bins. The cement wasteland stigma is extremely lame since other downtowns are full of high rise buildings and very little green space and have no problems. Places in Europe have no issues with their downtowns being extremely dense and tight with concrete everywhere. The intersection is such a small reason for the issues of downtown... city would be wiser to focus on the bigger picture instead of trying to focus on such a small problem. So many other things they can tackle which would be cheaper that would immediately give a shot in the arm to downtown....

The previous Red Dead was my favorite game and favorite movie/story that I've ever enjoyed. The writing was amazing and the game itself was a tonne of fun.

From my blurry memory I thought that the franchisee who owned most if not all of the Pizza Huts in Winnipeg was behind on his franchise fee payments and all of his locations were taken away from him by the mothership? That was when they decided to close down a few of them. The Pizza Hut on Springfield road does do decent business but I think most of the inside customers are the nearby seniors going for the senior special. I found with Pizza Hut that they have really salty and greasy meats and the cheese is super fatty which is why it always seemed like the tops of the pizza were swimming with pockets of grease. I remember as a kid Pizza Hut used to be the go to place for families complete with those hard plastic dark red cups, lots of pasta, usually table top pacman or boxing arcade machine and the place was always jam packed. They just never moved on from being stuck in the 80's....

Boston Pizza is criminally overpriced for the Pizza... the last time I ordered from Pizza Hut on Springfield I ordered 2 pizzas one with stuffed cheese crust with two toppings and the other a Hawaiian and it ended up being 50 dollars. In comparison at Dominos I can get 2 xls and a 2litre for 25 dollars and the pizza taste better.....

I assume T-Cona? Pizza Hut is way over priced and still very greasy.... you're not missing anything...
-
I assume the old Asoyama? My co workers rave about the other Ben and Florentine and have said nothing but good stuff.

I'd be curious on the amount of snaps each player has played also. This could be a stat that shows how much time Saskatchewan and BC are on the field because of poor offenses,

I used to eat a lot of Panago in the early 2000's and it was good... I tried eating it again about 5 years ago and the quality was almost as bad as Little Caesars....

Football players move slightly faster then 265 pound boxers.

People have agendas for any random reasons... hell we have inner Morningbigblue agendas (TBURGESS,FLOYD, etc....) For myself I come down Portage and turn left on Main street.... their is no possible way that 10 seconds would be tacked on only. I'm assuming he's cherry picking people coming down Main and turning right on Portage at the green arrow light and using best case scenarios (light traffic, a system that uses the button to activate the walking sign, minimal pedestrians attempting to cross etc...). I'd assume what really would be set up is a 30 second timer to cross... people naturally trying to cross at the last second which would tack on a few more seconds. I'd listen to Bellamy but it doesn't past the common sense test so at this point it's just b-s to me.

I don't understand how offsides cannot be easily called by the command center... it's a penalty that really has no gray area and should be easy to see from above.
-
Just to stimulate more conversation.... does anyone think that another major factor of the attendance is that Winnipeg is such a multi cultural city that many other cultures just are not into American football?
-
First of all I don't trust Bellamy at all he has his own agenda. I don't understand how pedestrians crossing in the morning will only add 10 seconds. That number does not add up, 10 seconds to cross 8 lanes of traffic? That seems impossible in my opinion. Also this completely neglects the impact of traffic if it's grid locked and where you can't cross intersections on green lights because traffic is backed up. Looks like fudged numbers to push his agenda.

I think I saw wrestling once in the 90s ... Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels were on the sidelines and the rest was a blur to me.

I don't see Efron in that role. He has to much of the glazed over pretty boy look. The later Die Hards sucked because it was so over the top that it made it more of a joke... felt like I was watching a XXX or Fast and Furious movie instead of Die Hard. Zero grit at all...
-
I'd like to look at what the stats are when guys like Masoli or Lulay can complete the same underneath pass over and over again without our defense making any adjustments....

I could only imagine the ego of Carter if Owens took his spot lol

I was joking jeeze lol... Though when his contract is up I'm sure we can use Dressler money to get him

I wonder if Buono goes to Montreal next year as gm and coach?

If it goes past the first round then I'd put the odds very heavily on Khabib winning.

This is very true. A large chunk of people at the game or only there because of the drinking and picking up ladies/men. They don't watch the game and have zero clue about the players. Does this make them real fans?

I don't know about that, after the first quarter they called it what it is that he was thrown in to early and made a lot of mistakes. Dunigan at half time looked nearly like he was going to scream at Climie for suggesting that it was a good idea at him playing. Even Rod Black was making jokes about how bad the game went in the 2nd half.

We were nearly this bad with Burke.
