MorningBigBlue.com Turns 1 Year Old Today
MOBomberFan replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
We also just hit 1000 topics in the bomber discussion forum. I'm proud to say 4 or 5 are mine, even if they are entirely filled with gifs. Long live the gif day thread -
Washington Redskins Urged to Change Team Name
MOBomberFan replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in General Discussion
Such a small group of people. I bet if all those people who opposed the name Jets got together to hold a rally they would have fit into a bus shack. -
Yeah, staying healthy should be the only thing keeping Sears from being the meanest, most physical safety in the league. I like this idea a lot.

Exciting stuff! Happy cakeday MBB. Big thanks to everyone who helps make this place better and better. -
I'm for sure going May 31 for this Fan Fest season ticket pickup thing, and probably again on Sunday for the first day of main camp. Please note, this is subject to change...

I look forward to seeing piles of these at next years locker room sale.

Chrome, Firefox, IE8 all good. Thanks Rich.

For those times when you need a quick housewarming gift for someone you barely know... the cheap wine thread.

http://www.liquormarts.ca/product/pelee-island-semi-sweet-merlot/750-ml Pelee Island semi-sweet Merlot I've never been a dedicated wine drinker, but this is my go-to wine. A reasonably priced and consistently tasty Canadian merlot.

I had a 'Red Racer' IPA recently. It was something different, lots of hops, nice aftertaste, but buyer beware... they have a best before date on the bottom of the can, and it would seem a lot of stores bought in bulk and are selling old stock...

Hmm, can reach on my mobile but not ie8, Firefox or chrome...

Important notice regarding the future of MBB.com
MOBomberFan replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm looking forward to another season of MBB fantasy football. -
What am I supposed to do at work tomorrow?

Where do you hear of all these players before everyone else?He doesn't...he just likes everyone to think he's a really big deal... Wait...he isn't actually a big deal? My mind just got blown. LOL ya. I'm a Mike, he's the Mike.

I hear you, but it doesn't make it okay in the slightest. My heart goes out to all the teens out there struggling with understanding their own sexuality. The furor raised everywhere (Twitter, Facebook, TV, newspapers, message boards) over something as innocent as an on-screen smooch does not help any of these kids come to terms with who they are.

Yes, my posts have been full of closed-minded bigotry. I should be ashamed of my actions.

I don't see anyone calling Mo Price criminal, just an ignorant *******. Mo Price is being skewered for being intolerant towards homosexuality, nothing more. It's okay to be gay. Well, Mo disagrees, and he's prepared to let everyone know. Mo is wrong, and deserves the flak he receives. It's a shame to boil a persons character down to 140 characters or less, but it's even more shameful to use what little fame he has to spread negativity towards homosexuals, and even more-so to do it in the name of Christianity. That's exactly what happened here, intentional or not. Every morning on Twitter, Alex Suber thanks god for another day, so I'll go out on a limb and say he's a practicing Christian. I don't know how he feels about the whole situation, but I do know he somehow managed to refrain from publicly expressing his disgust at a dude kissing another dude, and then try to justify his position by hiding behind his bible. Mo should take note.

I have a parking spot at work in Osborne, right beside the rapid transit station. On a crappy day I'll park their and bus the rest of the way, otherwise I'm biking it. I hate dealing with the mosh-pit of people that try to squeeze on to the bus at the end of the game, so I avoid it when I can.

So in other words... The world don't move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you may not be right for some?

I'll have him on my team. Just not on the back of my jersey.
-
And I hate to agree, but here we are

Nope I'm sorry, he's a homophobe. Thousands upon thousands of Christians across the world can reconcile their religious beliefs and homosexuality with tolerance. And if they can't do that, the sensible ones at the very least keep their traps shut about it. Just like Donald Sterling makes him self look like more of a racist by saying 'I'm not a racist', so too do homophobes by claiming they are not homophobes... especially after they come out and say something as ignorant as Mo Price did. He has shown his true colors; he can't turn around and blame his ignorance on his imaginary friend.

I stopped waterside by the Pharmasave and asked a poiliceman for directions to the Canadian Tire. I swear he gave me some bogus directions, I believe because he didn't like my Bomber plates, jersey, and hat. A left turn past the tracks and up the hill later and I was asking a burly unshaven saskatoon-picking local for directions. He started off with 'Holy **** you're lost' so yes, I have since invested in GPS.

I got lost in Kenora last summer. We were camping at West Hawk, we brought baseball gloves but no baseball... so we drove in and thought the town was beautiful. I wish I could have looked around more. There was a really good fry shack in the Canadian Tire parking lot, I seriously recommend checking it out if you see it.
