  1. what is the gin of choice in the do or die household? I believe it's Bombay - correct? That's my gin of choice, that's for sure. Also, being the GDT... GO BOMBERS!!!
  2. I can finally rejoin the chat...looking forward to tipping a few and enjoying what should be a really good football game. The debate now: Whisky from the 66 we brought back from Grand Forks, or one of the Winnipeg micro-brews we brought back from the MLCC. Half Pints, Farmery and Fort Garry all stocked up at the house...hmmm... You couldn't make a bad choice if you tried.
  3. Win lose or draw I just can't wait for tonight. The stadium will be absolutely rocking if we can get off to a good start. I know a few people going to their very first Bomber game tonight... I sure hope we don't serve up another stinker now that folks are buying tickets again, like we did vs EDM
  4. Let's kick these rump riders right in the tramp-stamp. Bombers front 4:
  5. Section 143, waving at Sara
  6. I've had the Brazilian one recommended, particularly for the capoeira demonstrations. The Japanese pavilion apparently puts on a good drum show.
  7. I tend to sort by yards gained and take it from there... of course, all the cuts and washouts go straight to the bottom when you do this.
  8. Worked for us (so far), but man... those lumps sure are tough to endure.
  9. Martell Mallett. I don't like Ottawa's chances in Calgary.
  10. Yeah that comment thread was a good read. Nice to see people who otherwise felt no reason to watch the cfl tune in for a lefevour willy rematch. Must have been sweet after all these years
  11. From that same article: Awesome.
  12. Yes, let's go with CJ Gable
  13. I had to stay in Regina when a family member was staying in the hospital there. Sadly I must say that compared to Portage, parts of Kenaston, and basically all of St James, Regina's roads might as well be paved with gold. The strange casino in a series of traincars was something else... and jeez, the 'Rider Pride' splattered everywhere... like vomit in the bathroom at a St Patrick's Day social, you couldn't touch a door handle without bumping or stepping into something green. Burger Baron was the highlight of the visit since my motel didn't have a pool.
  14. Haaaaaaaarris. Haaaaaarris. Haaaaaaarris.
  15. A 51 and a 49 anyways, but I also hope we're getting ahead of ourselves.
  16. Pretty strange post for a guy who usually calls out other posters for selective stats... Willy Week 1 - 308 yds (70%) Week 2 - 307 yds (64%) Week 3 - 256 yds (63%) Week 4 - 180 yds (52%) Look! He's trending downwards too... we should try Brohm. Greaves injury against Ottawa is the main factor in all of this... that and maybe MB is the one who is trending downwards... we'll see this week. One big difference here is that Cotton actually looked better than Grigsby in the preseason; Brohm did not look better than Willy by any means.
  17. Wrong thread Griller. This way good sir.
  18. Seeing as he is a Winnipeg boy I won't feel bad for taking Andrew Harris
  19. Wow that was pure ass. The game was mercifully quick, I can't believe I'm home at 11
  20. I love the restaurant. Sadly, I have found their offerings at the stadium to be no where near as good. It's true. While the stadium location still serves up a tasty and filling shwarm, the main store in The Exchange is better by far in my opinion. More TLC I guess; the guys at the stadium have a lot of people to serve.
  21. I swear the guy sounded like if he didn't retain the very next caller he was fired. I did some retention at MTS for a couple years and I would never ever have badgered a customer like that, nor would my managers have expected me to.
