  9. And thanks to her, the reality is Bomber fans are drunks that pick on little kids. Did you know we lead the league in Purolator Tackle Hunger donations? Sorry, we did... the Hammer edged us out/
  10. Yes, you're exactly right. What a classy organization the Bombers are said nobody on twitter this week
  11. I sense that some people are actually eager to believe this farce. If the cameras show her getting up out of her seats and simply walking out, dry and untouched... I would be mad enough to dump a beer on someone
  12. With respect to her hurt feelings and the feelings of all the people that defend or rationalize her lying, I'm going to go ahead and be all indignant about this. I'm a passionate fan of this team and this organization, and I identify with the team on a personal emotional level. If in fact nothing went down the way she describes, then she dragged our collective names through the mud and even profited from it in the end. Not just Bomber fans either, but ordinary citizens and city workers were described as aggressors. Meanwhile, the rest of the league gets to hear all about what cruel drunks Bomber fans are, towards children no less. I'm sure we as fans do stupid things at games, often fueled by alcohol... but if our team and our city are gonna get raked through the coals, let it be for something that actually happened.
  13. Spell it out for us, because there are a number of people here that think a claim of wrongdoing is all the proof we need to know that Bomber fans are cruel heartless child-hating drunks.
  14. It's the video of her elaborating on the incidents that made me start to wonder what really happened. If you've watched the video and you take her at her word that things went down as described, then I hope for your sake you never run into the scam ma'am, she's gonna fleece you out of $30.
  15. I've been to plenty of games, including this Banjo Bowl, and yes I've definitely seen some stupidity involving drunks. In fact, I've even seen a kid get beer spilled on him! It was as accidental as it was funny... very. As for the story, there were guys 'getting right in her face' and telling her 'go back where you come from' while her son is crying, then a construction worker refuses to let her cross the road and tells her to 'suck a ****' and trips her with a rope? Then another stranger grabs her child and hugs him for '5 minutes'. All I'm saying is I read the between the lines and something for sure happened to ruin their day. But come on, you said it yourself, usually nothing happens really. Yet on this day, a host of strangers in several separate incidents pick on a lone woman and a little boy? And there was no security? And everyone around them stood on and let it happen. Yes, I guess even I have more faith in our fans and stadium workers than that.
  16. Kind of like how so many of us expected big things THIS year. Keep the faith
  17. Ya... call me skeptical. I believe something happened, but I don't think believe the mob turned on her as described, or that security was nowhere to be found. I believe this story was embellished. Ya, people can be shitty. People tend to exaggerate as well. Whatever the case I hope that her son is not turned off of the bombers, and that they've learned something about dressing for a bomber game.
  18. If this hypothetical offense goes an entire game without a first down there is no other way to look at it, our offense needed to play better. There are a lot of inches in the mile it takes to win a game. I don't understand why anyone is content to simply say 'as long as we're winning that's all that matters' and not see the value in analyzing how we got there, and how we could be doing even better.
