When I see this, I have to imagine it was a stunt planned and paid for months in advance. As for 'not being a troll job'... if not, then who is this for??? Do they think that Sasquatches are going to see this and suddenly remember that they are Sasquatches and go buy tickets and ugly merchandise? Trust me... Sasquatches in Hamilton don't need billboards to remind them that they are Sasquatches. They know.

Indeed! Players talk. I'm sure most of the league knew what was up... I think back to an interview with Denmark just after we signed him... they asked how camp was in Saskatchewan, and his characteristic smile disappeared and all he offered was 'camp was okay....'. Seemed like there was more to the story but he wasn't about to spill it in front of the cameras.

I don't think Ripper is referring to the 'deployment of internationals' fine, rather he's referring to Chris Jones allegedly negotiating with Sask 2 weeks before the GC was even played, then a week after officially taking the job in Sask bringing 7 of his assistant coaches from EDM along with him. Although, according to the Edmonton journal, Hervey withheld 2 weeks pay from the assistants still employed by EDM following the GC, which spurred the exodus. I think both sides are pricks, either way...

I'm right there with you guys. Eastern semi against HAM might be the greatest game I've personally attended. Upper deck, East side, South endzone... we had parkas and snow pants, hot chocolate, and wool blankets. The guys sitting next to my wife was in jeans and a pathetic winter wind-breaker type of thing... my wife might have saved that guy's life by sharing a blanket with him lol. Will never forget Garrett and his 'final play at CanadInns'
