Have to lol at the dislike for Elizabeth May, and the cherry picking about what she does and doesn't think.

can't trust her cause she accepts homeopathy. That's it. every other thing she says, thinks, does, is irrelevant.

lack of logical thinking on this site is impressive.

I agree you lose a lot of context with just the last post.

I think I had this setting at a lower number before and ended up making it higher.

The problem is if you hit the limit and have to manually delete some old posts, that is very difficult to do on a mobile device as well.

I don't really like any of the options.  I need to find something where if the limit is 5, it would just automatically delete the posts above 5, you shouldn't have to do it manually.  Might need to research this a bit more.

    Sorry, but this is horseshit.
When you criticize Ms. Held's choices, you are deflecting blame from the cop who massively overescalated the situation. Let's set aside her suspicious death for now, because no one here has any idea what happened in her cell. Tell me, at what point does she do anything that warrants physical assault, a taser threat, an arrest, and jail time?
The blame belongs with the cop. Not with the victim. The cop shat the bed on this one. http://www.texasstandard.org/shows/current/10-things-about-the-sandra-bland-traffic-stop-every-texan-should-know/ dissects his mistakes in some detail.

Oh I agree that it's silly to say obviously the cops killed her.
But it's a major news story and fair game to discuss.

yeah, this stinks from every angle.
Compare how Sandra Bland and Clive Bundy got treated during their run-ins with American law enforcement.
All I can say is that I hope it gets investigated properly.
Jesse Williams has an epic rant on this:

The moral of the story is, its okay to be violently brutal in the name of religion if the other side starts it and you think your God is better.

Im being sarcastic and certainly will not get into a debate about the Crusades.  Im a believer in God but anyone who says "because the bible says so..." is a non-starter.

Saw a great post on FB.  "Even if you think being gay is a choice, so what.  People choose to be a$$holes all the time and they can get married".

The way I look at it, if you think it's wrong, so be it.  You have the choice to not marry someone of the same sex.  But the arrogance and ignorance to actually come down on the side of saying gay marriage should not be allowed...its mind boggling really.  In 2015!  its almost funny if it wasnt so sad.

I can only speak for myself. I don't expect government to make laws according to my beliefs. I know we're in the minority. Doesn't change my beliefs. It just affirms them.

My only concern is that it sounds like Walters may have mislead him. If true, that can damage the reputation of the organization and make future players hesitant of signing here.

It is what it is now, but that's not how it always has to be. It is not even remotely unreasonable or "stupid" to advocate for a change in how content is delivered in an industry in which innovative ways to deliver content are always being explored. TV is always changing and the article reflects a very logical next step, one that is already happening in other sports. If what you're reading is "people want to be able to watch TV without paying for TV" then you're missing the point. What people want is a way to consume content that reflects current values and preferences, and is consistent with the technology available.

People are entitled to their opinions no matter how much you disagree with them. You can argue against their opinion, but there is no need to start calling people out and calling them names.

Keep this thread on the topic of people getting cut.

I wouldn't be here if I didn't bleed blue and gold and I love the Bombers
I like about 90% of the changes this offseason
I don't sign on to find something to complain about.  I sign on to discuss Football.
I totally understand what preseason games are for and that they are extended practises.  That's not the same as saying I like to see my team get beaten up by anyone.
I'd watch the game if it was on TV or being streamed.  I'll listen on CJOB if I can't watch.
I take a ton of crap on these forums simply because I don't agree with everything the Bombers do.  (Maybe it's because I'm right way more often than I'm wrong)
If you don't like my opinion, then disagree with it.  Argue the post, not the poster.

While I think it's silly to try and predict a starting roster before camp even starts, I get that people do it for fun.

Fair enough.  It's not that I dont appreciate the relationship (I very strongly believe governments have to address the root issues concerning Aboriginals in Canada), its that most people in the discussion are sort of dismissive of the criminality of the rioters and putting the blame on the cops.  I think they should be addressing systemic racism and prejudice.  Additionally, they should be addressing systemic culture issues within law enforcement where it's a "jock-heavy" profession and introduce training that teaches officers to deal with their own stressful and adenlized situations (you see a lot of times, a high speed chase for example, where 50 cops are in pursuit and when they catch the guy the cops are crawling all over each other to be in on the take down).

But while they do that, they should throw the book at any of these people arrested for looting, rioting, vandalism, assaults etc.
