  1. Might as well put Brown in at this point.
  2. Jackson is ready to go!
  3. This is how I felt about Edmonton at the end of last season but any progress they made had vanished over the off-season. They need to avoid that again to have a chance next year and I think they can if they stick with Ford. No changes at all are needed in Regina. Things are going great over there!
  4. Yeah I don't disagree. When I looked at the PR to see who they could possibly have swapped Murphy with, it wasn't great but they had to go with somebody. I don't expect much (or anything) out of Schmeckle but that was also pretty much my expectations for Murphy.
  5. So you're mad because a sub-par Canadian (Murphy) gets replaced by another sub-par Canadian?
  6. He's still making a lot for what's he's doing: 2) Andrew Harris, Toronto Argonauts (N) Hard money: $145,000 Maximum value: $160,000 The future Hall of Fame ball-carrier is expecting to take on a reduced role this season but remains one of the highest-paid players at his position league-wide. He got a $30,000 signing bonus to rejoin the Argos for one final CFL season and will make another $15,000 in non-football-related services to the club. https://3downnation.com/2023/04/18/the-cfls-15-highest-paid-running-back-and-fullbacks-for-the-2023-season/
  7. Lawler's return certainly didn't help him but he was already in & out of the line-up prior to that. He started the first 3 games of the season but missed the next two. He was back in the line-up for week 6 (as a back-up this time) before going down to the PR in week 7 when Lawler came back.
  8. I wonder who would do something like that... oh wait!
  9. Well he has one thing going for him that's sure to get him a spot on the roster! 😂 Oliver Martin was a four-star recruit and U.S. Army All-American when he joined the Michigan Wolverines. https://jaguarswire.usatoday.com/2023/08/08/oliver-martin-jaguars-2023-roster-review/
  10. Is Strevy still in town? He knows a thing or two about parades...
  11. 5 days between being cut and brought back doesn't leave much time for improvement.
  12. It's quite the fall for a guy who was supposed to be the next star from the Calgary QB factory only a couple seasons ago. Ottawa gave up the first overall pick in 2020 for him... not sure they'd be able to get a few rolls of tape for him now.
  13. Maas failed upwards you can blame Maciocia for hiring him in the first place.
  14. Yeah but it's not like they'll sit them until the East finals so they are still at risk of injury anytime they step on the field.
  15. Keep up the good work! 😂
  16. I'd love to go a day or two without hearing the same **** about roster management over and over.
  17. <TBurgess has entered the chat>
  18. They didn't. He was escorted off the field by a ref after the injury spotter called down to have him removed. Haven't seen it listed if there is a set number of plays they must sit out, just that the spotter has the ability to pull a player. I always thought the 3 play rule was a way to avoid teams abusing injury timeouts, rather than being a player safety issue?
