I was on the fence about LW. I loved the movies (the 1st two at least) but wasn't sure about a TV show. Now that I see Damon Wayans has been cast in Danny Glover's role, I have zero hope this will be good.

Books almost always are deeper than the show or movie though. GOT for example has cut out a number of characters and storylines. it's not always because of a directors vision either. Including everything from a book doesn't work when you have to deal with time or financial constraints.
-
You should be thankful you don't read the game of thrones books. Waiting a few months for the next season is nothing compared to waiting 5-6 years between books!

Yep, I'm looking forward to watching it all again. I haven't watched a single episode since it's run ended so while it's not new to me, it'll be as close as I can get. I know there's stuff I either don't remember or missed the 1st time around.

The wife and I really enjoyed BE as well. She still to this day hasn't seen an episode of The Sopranos (which blows my mind) so that's one I'm going to make her sit down & watch one of these days.

The WWE is reminding me a lot of WCW at the end of it's days, where the backstage/real life stuff is more interesting than the stuff they put on TV.

I agree with TUP. I was a huge fan of Owen's (going back to his Stampede days) but I never saw him breaking through to that next level (at least on a consistent basis).

Then you are SOL I'm afraid. I have the same model of ps3 & can't play ps2 games either. The 4 USB model was the very 1st one out so there aren't many of them out there that are still in working condition.

So Dennis Wideman's suspension has been cut to 10 games on appeal... after he's already served 19. Now he'll get some money back but how do you compensate him and the team for the games he's lost? Since it's the Flamers, I don't really give a f**k but what would the reaction be if it was a team/player that really mattered & were battling for a playoff spot?

Nope.

Just look for it on Kodi

In your example, Kimbo would be picture one, not 2. Picture 2 would be more like CFC unless you don't consider that part of the mma industry since most of those guys won't make it anywhere either. Same goes for the CFL, most guys will never even get a sniff of the NFL. Most minor leagues (whether or not it's wrestling, mma, hockey whatever) are filled with guys who will never make to the upper echelon, but it doesn't mean they aren't a part of that particular sport/industry.

A backyard promotion and a legitimate indy promotion are 2 different things. This is backyard wrestling: This is indy wrestling See the difference?

I've been and enjoyed it. It would probably be my regular theatre if it was closer to home.

This is correct. You want the "fat" PS3 with 4 usb ports to play PS2 games. Battlefront 2 is on the list of PS2 games that will work with that PS3. You can jailbreak your PS3 if you don't have that model... but doing that can get you banned from the Playstation Network.

That system might work for some but I doubt I would ever use, not at those prices anyway. There's usually only 2 or 3 of us when I go to the movies so the cost of The Screening Room wouldn't make sense for me. Plus I like getting out of the house for a couple hours to enjoy a movie... when I watch movies at home there's always some kind of distraction.

Paul has been linked to this movie for a few years now and he really wants to be in it. He's had several meetings with the producers and directors in the past as well but there's been multiple changes on that end so the current director may have other ideas. Matthew McConaughey & Idris Elba have already been confirmed for the movie.

Looked like War Machine takes a bit of a beating in that trailer.

Yep, was on our PR for 9 days last October. I wonder if he was let go for NFL opportunities since he ended up working out & signing with Denver a couple months later.

Bombers add receiver Jace Davis. 6'1, 210 lbs. Spent some time with Baltimore & Houston. Denver signed him to a futures contract in January but that obviously didn't go anywhere if he's with us now. http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/03/10/bombers-add-receiver-jace-davis/

Maricopa County in Arizona would rank higher as a place not to get busted... just ask Khabibulin!

Around The League Off Season Discussion
bigg jay replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Not only will he be 76 by the time the season rolls around, it's not exactly like he was putting together great teams when he was managing teams. He had 1 winning season as a GM & his career record is 66 wins vs 111 losses for an amazing .372 winning percentage. Maybe he'll be a better scout than GM though... -
Choice of channels coming to cable TV packages soon.
bigg jay replied to Fatty Liver's topic in General Discussion
They cut the price down slightly ($14 for the pair) if you get both bundles. I hope they keep those same prices when the time comes for the complete pick & pay. Individual channels now are $3 and up so it makes more sense to get the bundles. For me, I'd be cutting everything but the sports channels so I could live with only paying around $20 plus my internet. -
They can still re-sign Angle if they can agree on something, regardless of him working this show. This is a one time event from what I understand not an on-going thing so it's not like Angle is now tied up long term or something. TNA has, at least in the past, allowed their workers to take indy bookings even while under contract. TUP has booked quite a few guys to work his shows here while they were still working for TNA (although from what I've heard/read that might need a thread of it's own! ).

Conflict of interest? Seriously? These aren't NHL players where there's a collective agreement all parties have to follow. They are independent contractors who are lining up more work after their current gig is up. TNA had him under contract until a certain date, what he does after that is (and when he made those arrangements) is his business not theirs. Do you think construction companies can't/don't line up their next job until their current one is finished?
