Nope, body double with her face digitally added.

She did refuse to do more nude scenes after season 3. According to one of her co-stars, she wants to be known for her acting not her breasts (which given her acting skills might have been a bad choice). http://www.idigitaltimes.com/daenerys-nudity-emilia-clarke-wont-allow-any-more-khaleesi-naked-scenes-game-thrones-season-4-video

So Conor finally made a real statement - basically he's not retired but he's tired of promoting the **** out of his fights (which he has done at an unprecedented rate) while trying to prepare for a fight. He feels he's earned the right to let the other fighters on the card do most of the promo stuff like he has done in the past. You can read the full statement here: https://www.facebook.com/thenotoriousmma/posts/1260441947357435

Yep, my wife's department is being merged with another one as well. The names of some departments will be changing as well (like shortening Tourism, Culture, Heritage, Sport and Consumer Protection into something not so ridiculously long!)

Shaw was wonky for a bit in the evening in Transcona but it didn't last long.

He expected to make over $10 million for that fight after all was said and done. I haven't heard what he got in the end for it but maybe the UFC wasn't as generous that time around? The UFC is trying to make UFC 200 the biggest card in their history so he wants to get paid accordingly. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2621967-conor-mcgregor-says-he-will-make-over-10-million-in-ufc-196-vs-nate-diaz

Not all top guys get a ppv % - a guy like Dominick Cruz, for example, is a champion but he fights on more Fight Night cards than he does PPV so that wouldn't work so well for him. The locker room bonus & PPV share is what brought Conor up to $8 million against Aldo. His base pay for the fight was only 500k (he got an extra 50k for performance of the night & another 40k from Reebok).

Edmonton (who I hope trades the pick & Nail for some immediate help)... the T.O. media circle jerk over Matthews for the next year would be horrid.
-
Other than Ronda, Conor is the only fighter they have that brings in big numbers for the UFC. 2015 was their 3rd best year ever (in terms of PPV sales) with those 2 leading the way by far so he's definitely up there. He also made $8 million for the Aldo fight so he's not far off as it is. Brock & GSP also made a ton of sponsorship money, which is something Conor can't because of the Reebok deal. Ronda makes more in endorsements/movies than Conor so he might be saying ok, since I can't/don't make that "bonus" money, my base pay needs to come up to equal things out a bit.

There's more to it than that apparently. He asked for the money but then also refused to come to Vegas to shoot promo stuff for the fight. I don't normally side with the UFC in their contract issues with fighters but Conor can't have it both ways. He deserves the money since he pulls in huge numbers for them but his name alone doesn't sell the fights, it's the promoting/hyping he does that makes people tune in, so if he's not willing to do that, he's not going to get that kind of money.

I know a few people who started packing their stuff last week! I also know there was a bit of a push to find/create openings that people with appointments could apply for so if/when they got the job (there would be pressure to hire them specifically regardless of who the best candidate was) they would then be protected by the no layoff clauses. A few managers I know of begged people to not retire/quit until after the election so they didn't get stuck with someone like that.

Hopefully Pallister gets more than the 10 days or so Trudeau got before people started complaining about his new policies.
-
Delusional. After he said that, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had decided to stay on as leader. Glad he did the right thing... Just a couple years too late!
-
Definitely a weird situation... the UFC is adding to it by oddly announcing hours later that they have pulled him from UFC 200. How do you pull someone that already announced they're retired?
-
People who are appointed to jobs rather than earn them through competition usually get classified as being out of scope and don't fall under collective agreements. Those are usually good paying political appointments so those people can (and will) be axed. It happened quickly after the Filmon government fell and I expect that will be the same this time around as well.

No worries, I don't know the exact number myself but I know it's not 100%. In some cases, it's actually worse! Some contracts are 5 years instead of the usual 4 (I'm guessing they are banking on an ndp come back in 4 years).
-
Conor's coach & credible mma media people are saying it's legit. UFC can't be very happy right now!
-
Not 100% true. The MGEU is made up of different locals so there are multiple contracts that got negotiated. Some contracts did include a 4 year no layoff clause but not all of them.

Conor has mentioned retiring a few times, just never this directly. He was ringside for a fight in Ireland last week, where one of the fighters died the next day so it's very possible that played a big factor in his decision. He's definitely earned enough money to live comfortably if he was/is smart with his money so seeing something like that happen may have convinced him that he should get out while he can. Opinions are divided on whether or not this is a troll job or if he's serious though.
-
So Conor has decided to break the internets today...

I worked in the palliative program about 10 years ago and even back then it had a very good reputation (it was considered one of the best in Canada) so it's nice to see that it's still providing that level of care and comfort. A close friend of mine is dealing with a parent in the early stages of Parkinson's so I've been trying to help steer them towards what help is out there for them. It can be a tough system to navigate, even for people who know it, so I'm sure a lot of people miss out on some much needed resources.

I always felt that was part of Palpatine's plan - he was constantly undermining the Jedi Council when he talked to Anakin, now he was showing him that they were not the righteous guardians of the galaxy they claimed to be. Considering Palpatine was able to fight Yoda to a draw (and Yoda was recognized as being more powerful than Mace), but gets "beat" at just the right time for Anakin to come to the rescue, my money is on a fixed fight!
-
I don't think this is an issue. According to Yoda, there must be two, no more & no less so they are constantly grooming the next apprentice (like how Palpatine had Dooku but he started working on Anakin years earlier). The apprentice will either overthrow the master & take on an apprentice or fail and the master needs a new one so both will have someone waiting in the wings. They can have someone on stand by without them being Sith (like Dooku had with Ventress).

The tax value is much lower than the market value so it's worth a good chunk of change if/when he does sell. Having recently been to that area, I would say it's a good investment and would have done the same if i was in a position to so I don't begrudge him for that. The biggest issue that raises questions is the lying about it when there's really no need to and you are hammering your main opponent for lying about issues (PST, tiger dam contracts, etc). He has perfectly valid reasons for being away & owning foreign property so the choice to lie about it is puzzling.
-
The lying thing could be the only hiccup in an otherwise good front-runner campaign but I think it's way too late in the game for it to make any real difference. There seems to be more coming out by the day about Costa Rica, and if it had come out earlier, it may have played a factor. The last update I saw was that it's not a just simple vacation retreat, he owns at least other 3 separate properties totaling over 13 acres of land and, to tie into the Panama issue, he has them under holding companies (which is pretty typical).
