  1. They're calling it a lower body injury anyways. They could be outright lying but seems doubtful.
  2. I'd be surprised if they let Franks go right away. He had one bad play but several good ones.
  3. Anderson had two carries, 20 yards and 2 yards. Cotton: 3 yards, -2 yards, -1 yard. Marshall: 2 yards, 1 yard, -3 yards, 16 yards, 1 yard TD. Scott: 1 yard, 3 yards (WPG accepted TOR penalty, no stat for Scott), 3 yards, -4 yards, -2 yards. Randle: -4 yards, 0 yards.
  4. I really liked Rodney Lamar at linebacker, I thought he was our best LB.
  5. OK I signed up for Shaw Go and then was able to sign in with my Shaw Credentials for TSN Go. All is well, as long as you have Shaw TV... you can get in. Just remember to sign up for Shaw Go first.
  6. MTS or Shaw. My understanding is Shaw itself isn't covered, only Shaw GO (Shaw's mobile TV service) is covered. Doesn't everyone who has Shaw, have automatic enrollment in Shaw GO? If you have an account with Shaw, all you have to do is register that account with Shaw Go and you're as good as Gone. I didn't realize it was that simple. I guess I can access it then.

  8. Hurl himself said its the same defence a couple nights ago on CJOB with Jim Toth.
  9. Keep fighting the good fight TBURGESS, this place would be awfully dull without the **** disturbers!! I think everyone else needs to realize its OK to have a dissenting opinion! Coaches and GMs know more about football than all of us but it doesn't mean they're always right. They get stuff wrong sometimes too and it's OK to point it out.
  10. Tampa has fantastic fan support. The atmosphere is incredible. It is nothing like the Florida Panthers situation. Tampa was 9th in the league in average attendance this season with well over 18000 per game.
  11. Scheifele, Armia and our first rounder for Malkin
  12. Good old JBR, our resident expert on... Everything, it would seem! Are you an expert on blocking google? Ya, you gonna send me to Shawshank?

  14. No need to roll your eyes old timer, just stating an interesting fact about a former coach.
  15. Wonderful, MTA, simply wonderful
  16. Just get a large, Farva. I DON'T WANT A LARGE FARVA I WANT A GOD DAMN LITRE O COLA
  17. Yeah absolutely. I have no idea what's going to happen. That's the stuff that will get worked through in court. I'm just saying, they do appear to have a case. How strong it is... We'll find out.
  18. You could literally replace Pan-Am Games with anything other than "Maple Leafs" and that statement would be just as true.
  19. Yes but they don't have to prove any of the stuff you say they do. What do they have to prove? That the CFL actively worked to de-legitimize concussion concerns. Not providing independent doctors, not providing the best in helmet technology, and especially disseminating misinformation as suggested by the TSN article... that's what the case is going to come down to.
  20. The NFL wanted to settle out of court for a very similar case. Do you think they would have done that if the case is as simple as you say it is? Unfortunately you are approaching this from the perspective of someone whose prime concern is that you don't want to lose the CFL. The guy who played football for 5 years, was refused advanced helmets that were available (too expensive!), was refused an evaluation by an independent doctor, and was told he was "fine, just fine" by CFL employed doctors..... that guy might have a different perspective.
  21. I think it's worth noting that Kelly guided Widener to a 12-1 record last season.
  22. I think you're mistaken. NFL kickers are still human. You are describing a top-10 guy in the NFL. Lirim doesn't have to be at that level to make it. I think the average from beyond 50 is about 65% in the NFL. 40-49 yards is where you make your money though, and you've gotta be at least 70% to last in the NFL.
  23. Big time troll-job, and a poorly executed one at that.
  24. The dollar figure is irrelevant. The CFL doesn't have $2 million, let alone $200 million. But the insurance company that guards against liability for the CFL... well they have $200 million, easily.
  25. Yet Banks partner in all of this is some guy I've never heard of that had a cup of coffee in the CFL. Calls himself "the flea" or "the tick" or something like that. Banks is trying to make this a class action for players all the way back to the 60's. The 60's? They were only a couple years off from leather helmets for gods sake. I, also, find it pretty hard to fathom that Korey Banks...a player that only retired last year....suddenly found out that multiple concussion could have serious consequences. Either he was living under a rock, or missed the media blitz in Canada about concussions since Eric Lindros took his ball and went home. He would have to be the stupidest, or most ignorant guy on the planet to not know any of this stuff. Conspiracy to hide it from him? What....does he need it tattooed on his damn forehead? Since I was 4 years old, long before concussion protocol came around, I knew...and everyone I know knew that repeated blows to the head would eventually turn your brain to mush. Or he had a CFL-employed doctor telling him he "would be fine, ignore the reports, it's media sensationalism". Who would you believe, your doctor or "the media blitz"?
