If there are 4 games every week, that means only 80 games get played. With 9 teams playing 18 games each, there are 81 total games played. (9 x 18 = 162.... 2 teams per game so 162 / 2 = 81). So you need to fit that 81st game in there somewhere. The options are a 5-game week where someone plays twice or you extend the season by one week. And it looks weird because the gap is Wednesday to Monday for Ottawa, but that's still 4 days in between. It's no different than when someone ends a week on a Sunday and opens the next week on Friday, which isn't that uncommon.

Hamilton - no big play receivers, they don't use the running game, the OL is average at best, DL seems to have taken a big step back, linebackers are barely average (who is Larry Dean and what happened to Simoni Lawrence? Invisible out there), and their secondary is just plain awful. The team literally has zero points of strength. Even Collaros looks lost. I don't see how they win more than 3 games this season without some major changes.

Easy to blame the defence but the offence going 2-and-out four times in a row didn't help. Defence gave them the ball back on 3 interceptions but the Ticats offence couldn't capitalize.

Lulay is making it work. Maybe not pretty but he's moving the offence.

At this point, Hamilton looks like the worst team in the league. They desperately need playmakers on offence. They just don't have them. Injuries have crippled them in the secondary and receiving corps. I don't think they make the playoffs this year and that might be it for Kent Austin.

For all the crazy decisions that Chris Jones has made, I think he was actually right to get rid of Darian Durant. He has not looked good.

This issue just keeps getting dirtier and dirtier. I don't know how even the most ardent Liberal supporter can defend them on this. They got it wrong. Horribly.
