So you're completely ignoring the role of the House of Representatives? HoR exists for population representation. Senate exists for equivalent representation for each state. So if you take that away you are effectively silencing the role of smaller states in federal decision making. It's not a leap at all. That's what you're talking about.

I agree but I wouldn't judge him based on his interactions with the media because he's basically a closed book. Nothing you get from him is going to reflect reality that closely. Like when you say he's stating the obvious.... it's not because that's all he sees, it's because he doesn't want to give away the slightest bit of information. Questioning his in-game decisions.... fair game and valid. Media interactions? I wouldn't even bother.

Is that a problem? This is why the House of Representatives is based on population. Without the equal representation by senators, smaller states have no voice. Just because you disagree with the way they vote doesn't mean they should be silenced.

Huge overpay. Hasn't put up 50 points since 2014-15 and he's 38 years old so that trend probably isn't going to be reversing. That said, he improves their team and gives them a durable vet presence that can still score 25 goals.

IMO he is battling to be the #5 option at Centre. Probably slots into the depth chart as our 13th/14th forward. Might start the season in the pressbox.

His rights were traded to Anaheim in 2015. He finally got into 9 games (0G, 2A) with Anaheim in 2016-17 before being acquired by Florida in November. Scored 7 points (2G, 5A) in 27 games including a stretch of 6 points in 8 games in January-February. Nah he was a decent returner his first couple season in the league. I'm sure he could still do it if we really needed him.

Yeah Doug Berry should definitely not be on there. 27-26-1 with 3 playoff appearances and a Grey Cup berth over 3 seasons.
