    Thomas is a nice rotational player on a good contract, but I'd definitely rather have Evans.

    Evans helping with the ratio doesn't make your dl any better, which was the issue being discussed. Regardless, I think he's a decent player, just a little overrated.

    Johnson and Hughes are obviously very good. I think Evans is overrated. He reminds me of Shologan. Looked good in Ottawa, but just ok when he left. AC Leonard's pretty meh. He got an East all-star, but I think I would've taken any de in the West over him.

    I forgot about Moore. Dressler, Bowman, & Smith were high profile, but I meant being at the top of the fa class. Moore would fit what I was thinking of.

    I don't buy it. Burnham never even made it to fa, Harris got paid the same amount that we offered to stay with the qb he's had his success with, and TO outbid us for Walker. Have we gone after any high profile receivers in prior free agencies?

    Matthews would be better. So would Arceneaux & Roosevelt, imo. If I was running the show, I'd pass on Walker and sign Matthews for prob $100k less. Use the extra money to make a run at Ackie.

    Ongoing negotiations comes to mind as a possible reason.

    Stamps re-sign Law. I was thinking about him as a possible player for us. Injury concerns, but he's pretty good when he plays.

    Dressler was our Edelman, but just can't stay healthy.

    It'll be interesting to see what Roosevelt is worth in FA. He has the potential to still put up big numbers in a good offense, but his injury history scares me.

    Signing a top end rb and a really good blocking reciever, it looks like they're going all in on their running game. Probably a smart decision, given their current situation at receiver and qb.

    Agreed. As it stands now, they're worse at qb, receiver, DL (lost Ceresna), & db. They got better at ol & lb.

    I think it would be more typical Montreal if Loffler were 35 years old.

    Can't see any other qb putting up big passing numbers if they were forced to throw to Williams, Walker, & Bryant.

    JSK, Dean, and Unamba are all upgrades to what they had, although that may only upgrade their d from bad to mediocre.
