I don't see him resigning. IMO, best case scenario in the next election for the Liberals, if they're led by Trudeau, is a Conservative minority. Philpott's resignation was a huge kick in the nuts for Trudeau. It just sucks the best the Conservatives could come up with for leadership is Scheer.

WWEVerified account @WWE 2h2 hours ago WWE is saddened to learn that King Kong Bundy has passed away. He was THE bad guy when I first started watching WWE.

Maybe for yourself, but I think that's a pretty big oversell for the average Canadian. I don't say that to downplay what's happened, bc it's obviously bad, but imo this isn't the kind of juicy story that somebody who normally doesn't care about politics is going to spend much time talking about. I was in the office today and brought it up, and basically all I got back was, "yep, typical politician". And I work in a Federal government office... Maybe I think too little of people, but I honestly believe Trudeau having an affair would generate way more discussion among most Canadians.

Although the analogy works, I'm not sure this was the best idea from the Toronto Star, considering his family history.

That would certainly mess up the cap for the teams with $750k qbs. -

Smart move on the league's part. This will test the pa negotiating team's ability to work for all of the members. -

Good value on Brassard trade. Imo, he would have been a good option as a 4th line centre here, playing with Perreault. -

It's too bad there aren't a lot left handed dmen available at the deadline.I read somewhere that Alec Martinez might be available. I think a player like that is what we should be looking for. A 20 min dman that probably wouldn't take a 1st rounder to get. I'd also look at Brassard. We could use another centre, and his trade value has gone down. Put him out there with Perreault and Roslo on the 4th line. -

We weren't willing to pay for JSK at wil, but we'll trade an asset and pay way more to bring Eliminiam in? I really don't see it happening. -

Lol, it's funny b/c it's true.

The Riders got Powell and Watson, a receiver best known for his blocking, in FA. If anything, I think they'll throw the ball even less this season. -
I'm guessing he restructured to free up some cap room for this season. Can't see any possible reason why we'd give him a raise when he's got two years left on his contract and is coming off a down year.

Obviously. Scheif is way better than Little. -
I wouldn't go that far. The US has a treasonous criminal running their country. I know we've got some dummies on right right calling Trudeau a traitor for his immigration policies, but that's just far right nonsense. The US government is basically a crime family right now. We've got some problems, but imo it doesn't compare to the level of craziness down there.

We might have the worst group of party leaders I can remember. Scheer is a shameless opportunist who seems like he'd sell his grandma if it got him votes. He's going hard right, trying not to lose support to Bernier, but it's going to cost him centrist voters. Plus, he has one of the most punchable faces in politics. Trudeau, and most of his party, can't stop shooting themselves in the foot. I don't really care about the NDP, b/c I would never vote for them. I wish they'd go away so they stop splitting the vote on the left.

I don't feel the need to try to be fair. Anybody who was paying attention knew what was coming with Trump.
-
Agreed. It's crazy how many lower and middle class people vote against their own self interest.
-
Didn't Jefferson sign first? Alternate theory: Jefferson turned the Riders down for us, Riders then had to pay more for Johnson to ensure they didn't come away empty handed.

Michel seems the most likely to me. I was pretty surprised he got a shot in the first place.

Regarding cfl receivers in the NFL, Williams-Lambert would would look good in the role we had Thompkins in.
-
That's what I was thinking. Same size with similar testing numbers.
-
Why would you doubt JSK was getting league minimum? If an unknown rookie American isn't getting it, who is?

I don't see Zylstra coming back. He's too good. Bryant Mitchell is the guy I think is most likely to come back. Maybe even Duke. I think a big part of his success was being bigger and stronger than everybody in the CFL. He won't have that same benefit down there.
