Can a mod please put all of these off topic posts into a new thread. It's annoying having to read though them to get camp news.

Sir Vincent Rogers possibly gone for the season with a torn tricep. Huge less for the Esks.

Dale Warren had a nice pick in 1v1s against Augustine. Was stride for stride with him and grabbed the underthrown pass. Lots of gadget plays today. Matt Hazel looked lazy while I was there. Only approx 30 minutes of practice that I saw, so may have just been a bad moment for him, but he gave up on one deep pass, dropped another, then got yelled at by Lapo for running a bad route. Nelson broke Boutte's (?) ankles after a quick pass. Simonise had a nice deep td catch.

He had back to back bad snaps while I was there. He's really doing well blocking though, at least as far as I can tell.

Yeah, wouldn't make much sense otherwise when they just re-signed him this offseason. I wouldn't object to bringing him in and letting him sit on the 6 gm until healthy. He would look pretty good in Dressler's old spot.

Can't imagine there are any plans to go import at safety.

Made my changes. Not sure who lines up where in the receiving corp, but I think Washington wins the third import job. Not sure about who the last Canadian will be. Chose Forde, but could be Rush or any of the draft picks.

Holloway was a good qb, but I think childhood nostalgia is getting the best of you if you think he was better than Ray.

Washington and Nelson are two guys I'm interested in. With apologies to Thompkins, and barring a last minute signing of a NFL cut, they look like the front runners for two American receiver spots. I'm also interested to see how Brandin Bryant follows up on his rookie season. He looked good last year, and should probably be even better this year. I think Geoff Gray wins the rg competition and Chris Humes wins the open cb job. Those are my two big roster predictions.

Just listened to Dunk on a podcast say that that Eli likely would have been the top pick in the draft if he hadn't said he was done with football. He referenced Duane Forde, although not by name, saying that he thought the same thing.

Ferguson had him at 24. I don't think anybody expected him to go this high. Plus this isn't a guess from Dunk, they know he's in Toronto right now.

NMC doesn't mean he won't accept a trade. We asked Enstrom to waive his, so it's not like the organization has an unbreakable rule against asking. I don't believe he's untradeable. Imo, worst case scenario is we have to add a draft pick with Little for a lower draft pick type of trade. But I think we could get a pick for him. It's not like he's terrible.

Wonder if we're considering Kongbo at #5.

I'd rather we keep Hayes than trade for somebody else.

Florida was kinda who I was thinking might fit. It sounds like they'll be going for it next year, and they seem like they should be only a few pieces away. Matheson is who I think would be a good return, plus whatever other pieces it takes on either side to finish the deal. Young guy on a long term deal at a reasonable price.
