  1. So great for Doug, and hard to believe James West wasn't in sooner!
  2. If I had the money, I'd absolutely do this every year. An amazing time. Love talking with CFL fans and seeing all the cool jerseys. There's been some cool stuff!!
  3. Well, we're taking a breather but this has been amazing. I have pics to post later!
  4. I'm standing in TD MB social and Wade just announced the sellout. Fantastic. This has been an awesome time btw...
  5. I dig it...cool video. Not sure what I think of the slogan but I like where their heads at.
  6. Haha Mike no need to do an LC run. We've tried every MB beer. And we'll be buying more when we get in. SOE on Thursday sounds good dude...
  7. The social is in the Vic Inn tho. Hope to see ya's tomorrow night. And Mike, Dave and I have presents for ya...
  8. Yeah, I really didn't like Ultron very much. Was really hard to follow everything that was going on 'cause they tried to jam too much stuff in there. Best scene in the whole damn thing was them hanging out trying to lift the damn hammer.
  9. Trailer appears as if Civil War is going to be everything we hoped it would. Better than Ultron.....
  10. Y'know, as soon as I posted it, I kinda went "Wait...." ..but my point is more or less the same. We don't really know who's responsible for what...and being able to scout doesn't make you a great GM.
  11. I wouldn't say he's GM of the year... but his one year with us he found quite a few solid guys from down south who immediately could play the CFL game. Now we can't even find a healthy decent receiver ... it seems like any guy we find with talent is injury plague or he's just filler Couple things: 1) We don't know what he did or what Mack did.... 2) Just because you can scout talent, doesn't make you a great GM...
  12. He can be on any kind of mission he wants, Burris flat out sucks in the cold. The only time he got a Grey Cup win was in a dome and remember his last foray into an out doors grey cup game? He got his ass handed to him cause it was cold out. I personally want -40 and a ******* blizzard of epic proportions on Sunday because his tears will sustain me throughout the offseason. As someone who will be there... I do not endorse this sentiment... Hey I'll be there too, you can dress for the weather and I would gladly sit through a **** storm if it makes Burris look like an *******. truer words.....
  13. Remember when we heard the same story about MB being away from the CFL and learning new stuff from the NFL....This was totally my first thought as well...
  14. How on earth is that upside???
  15. Christ sakes... Almost scared to watch it. Ha ha. Possibly tomorrow after SHIELD....
  16. Lapo is about a half step up from Bellefeuille. I woulda been fine if he was the initial guy, but he's definitely not the upgrade guy.
  17. That first ep of Jessica Jones was........dark. It was not an "easy watching" show. Will probably watch the 2nd and see where it goes, but man, that was a tough first ep...just how dark and edgy it was....especially the ending.
  18. For anyone interested, I've been told the Thursday night Spirit Of Edmonton Social (free cover!) is the place to be. Was talking to General Taylor John about heading over there for a hang. So hopefully we'll see a few MBB faces over there!
  19. The girlfriend has a Watson jersey from a few years back, so she's hoping to run into him this week and get that signed....so kinda glad he'll be in town, anyhow...
  20. If the Bombers kept Willy healthy and had a reasonable season, this would all be a moo point. Tickets would have sold very quickly. Once Willy was hurt and out season spiralled, people bailed hard.
  21. I'll cheer for almost anyone over Burris. Esks without a doubt.
  22. Anyone but Hank. Everyone hear Classic Hank saying he's better than all who came before, because he rebuilt a team? Most arrogant pos....eff that guy. Go Esks...
  23. Feel bad for Gascon Nadon...shoulda had that INT that Burris gifted him, tho it wasn't an easy catch, per se.
  24. He's got nothing to prove. Guy has done it all...best NI RB of all time, no questions. Retire with your head high and health relatively in tact.
  25. I'd say Barley Bros! We haven't made definitive plans but I'm betting on Happy Hour Thurs at BBs. Or Friday at TD MB Social!!
