Bombers sign Larnel Coleman. He's an American offensive tackle who was drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played 1 game in the NFL and played college at UMass.

Was at the stadium Friday night for the Bryant & Streveler talk. It was very exciting to see the work on the field. It was really worn out, so it was becoming a bit of an injury concern.
I bet they're cutting it up to hand out to season ticket holders like they did with the turf at the old stadium.
With the Goldeyes finally getting a new scoreboard it got me thinking. Will the Bombers ever upgrade their jumbotrons?
It would great if they were replaced by larger versions at some point.

I guess you don't have FX Canada?
Nope. Looks like Bell MTS doesn't carry FX now.

As of today we dont know if the CFL is even seriously considering changes to the kickoff rules. Meanwhile, the NFL has full transparency for prospective rule changes.
I wonder where does 3Down gets their ideas for articles.

the Bear, Shrinking, and Only Murders In The Building are the ones that are in production that I'm most excited for...... If they get around to a second season of Poker Face, you can add that to the list as well....
You watch Slow Horses or The Tourist? They're pretty damn good shows.

Bombers sign receiver Isaiah Coulter. He was a 2020 5th round draft pick.
This one is interesting as it was reported he signed with the UFL 4 days ago.

They also signed DB James Campbell. He tried out for Seattle last year.

Wanna feel old? John Candy died 30 years ago on March 4th, he'd be 74 if he was alive today.

This is the game. I’m not sure if there’s clips of players going into the stands, but the enndzones were clearly pelted with snowballs by the middle of the 4th.
At 2h48min they show one TiCat way up in the stands, not sure if any others joined him. They did show 3 other players being led back towards the players bench though.
Such a dominant game by the Bombers, too bad they laid an egg in the Grey Cup.

Does anyone have clips of the playoff game in the early 90s vs the TiCats? Bomber fans were throwing snowballs at the Ticats and and I could swear a handfull of players went into the stands to confront the fans.
I'd like to see video proof of this and that it wasnt a figment of my drunken memory.

Watching games from back in the day, it's astonishing the big hits that a QB was expected to absorb ... especially a guy like Hufnagel who played from the pocket a lot. Like, check this play out, Huffer gets obliterated after he throws a gorgeous deep pass to Tuttle. No penalty, he bounces right back up. Those guys were tough back then.
It's so awesome to have access to these old games, you can really see how the game has changed over the years. It seems like it was around 2004-2005 when the CFL started making rules to try to keep quarterbacks alive.
Check this clip out. They thought a direct hit to a QBs head was a perfectly clean hit.
Side note: I miss running onto the field after a Bombers win.

The thing I dont understand out of all this is how did the Lions end up using Nationals for more snaps than the Bombers.
I wish the CFL would provide the data so we can see how all the teams utilized their Nationals.

Environmant Canada really scaled back the amount of snow the Winnipeg area will get. At least from the forecast I read this morning. I think the amount of rain & freezing rain will affect the amount of snow you guys get. Here in Calgary, we've got close to 20 cms of new snow on the ground. We've had 2 years of bad drought so I hope that this means we'll get more snow & rain for the remainder of March & into spring.
Looks like Regina is going to get hammered with up to 20cm of snow today.
Brandon wont get as much snow but they are expecting high winds so they may get blizzard conditions.
For Winnipeg, like you said the worse might be the freezing rain. Hopefully the temps stay below zero today.

Reminds me of when the carriers would over charge for the system access fee.
Someone should look into see if there was collusion amongst the carriers. It seems coincidental that they would charge the same fees.
