  1. BC funnels the play to those guys Winnipeg doesn't. pretty simple really. Wild gets put in a position to make a lot of plays, Bass is used more of a hole plugger and force the play somewhere else. Just a difference in style really.
  2. yeah cause people aren't already saying that. This team is in a no win situation with a lot of fans until their record is consistently above .500. People are so quick to be negative because they're seen so many losses that no matter what happens people aren't willing to enjoy the positive things because they are used to it being short lived. A loss tonight doesn't diminish the win last week at all. Going against one of the best offenses in the league currently with as banged up a secondary as the Bombers have is a tall order regardless of what happened in the first 3 weeks.
  3. gravity is a law, I obey the law.
  4. You don't get in game shape in a game, you get ready in practise. If he is on the roster it's cause he's ready to go physically. If he's not ready he shouldn't play at all.
  5. he wears green he's a legend in waiting simple as that.
  6. Bowman, too many newbies in the bombers secondary,
  7. If Milt Stegall was collecting lifetime royalties every time a bomber scored a TD I wouldn't care. The man provided so much entertainment for us fans he can beat me up and steal my wallet and I'll thank him for the honour.
  8. You're going to win 2 games in one day? Impressive.
  9. Riders are winless so I agree completely.
  10. The line in 2000 and 2001 was OK but they got old and poor in a hurry and by 02 and 03 they were getting khari killed
  11. Considering how good Davis has been I wouldn't cry about missing on a receiver prospect yet. Mayo has looked good too.
  12. Dude Sewell is ******* good. I think he's scarier than Laurent just that Laurent gets talked about more being a NI
  13. **** zerg players. Protoss ftw
  14. Greene seems to be forgotten by Bomber fans a bit but he was really really good for them. Goodspeed and Gauthier were reall solid as well. Was a good line, just didn't last long.
  15. and he's an NFL fan? Like the NFL games don't have real dull stretches in them? The NFL is all hype and less substance. Sure the CFL players aren't as good but the game is less rigid and prone to more crazy **** happening.
  16. Look in every game there are breaks and mistakes that happen to both teams. The winning team is the team that capitalises on the key ones. Bombers did that against Hamilton and there is no need to diminish it. If we are diminishing engine because one team made too many mistakes then the bombers opponents have a lot less legit wins.
  17. You aren't looking at the good and bad though. You are looking only at the breaks the bombers caught. Ticats caught a break on the missed field goal and subsequent td they got from it. They got a break on another touchdown where they had receivers so offside even rod black saw it but it wasn't flagged. Those two things right there are the only reason the game was close. You like to claim objectivity but it's really not. It's just focussing on the negatives and is every bit as bad as only focussing on positives
  18. We had a good ol for a brief bit when berry was here but it didn't last long
  19. yeah the slants if done well are damned hard to stop, especially if you use a bigger receiver to do it. Screwing around with lateral motion behind the LOS though just drives me bonkers.
  20. it's bend but don't break. Don't allow anything over the top and make the other team complete a lot of passes in order to move the ball. These guys can't really cover all that well so they are cheating deep and will risk getting burned short than deep.
  21. It is one of the best ones. Just about anything from 2001 is golden and 2002 had a pile of great stuff as well. The fact that those teams didn't win one Grey Cup is a real shame cause there are some great players from that era.
  22. For a guy as small as he was a he was a tough little bugger too. Rarely stopped on first contact and just fought tooth and nail for every inch.
  23. Yeah Bob is a ******* legend. Just a real pro who is great at his job.
  24. I think it's just a case of too many young guys. A lot easier to work one in at a time but having to play 2 of them is tough, especially when a veteran guy gets hurt and you need to make a 3rd change.
